i am looking into getting some lose skin removed, which i have due to weight lose. i was wondering does anyone know what this surgery is called? also has anyone had this done?
If it's a small amount of loose skin and you're relatively young (say under 30), the skin may tighten up on its own in time. Staying properly hydrated gives the skin a firmer appearance. But if it's a lot of skin, there are all kinds of tightening surgeries, depending on the body part: arm lift (brachioplasty), tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), buttock lift, leg lift, even body lift. Tummy tucks are very common and many surgeons perform this. The other types of surgeries aren't as common, and you may have to search harder to find a surgeon sufficiently experienced in these procedures.
