Lose fat/Gain Muscle

Ok, yes I am a newbie here. My question is, i'm getting back into the Gym after a long layoff(1 year) and got quite a bit of body fat to drop. I wanna add muscle while dropping the fat and am curious as to what supplements to add into my program.

For fat loss: I was thinking an ECA stack like Hydroxy or BetaLean.

General: Vitamin packets, protein powder, creatine.

For muscle gains: AD, 6oxo(sp?)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
Dont let the EC become a crutch, cycle it on and off throughout the diet phase. I use it for workouts only.

Make sure your creatine isnt all sugar, or any for that matter. If your cutting I personally dont see where this comes in.

Cant help you on those prohormones....no expirience.

I think you'd be better off sticking to one or the other first. The only way to gain muscle is to consume more calories than your expending, and the only way to lose bodyfat is to expend more calories than your consuming. I'm not saying it's not possible to do both, but I am saying it is more effective to do one then the other. Thus bulking and cutting cycles.

If you're prone to gyno, you might want to keep an extra bottle of 6 oxo, novladex, or clomid on hand. Instead of protein powder, you can try eating chicken or tuna; that'll give you extra calories and substance while your bulking. Supps are good but they can't replace entire meals, especially bulking. Thus the name supplements.

Haha, I allready have gyno. Little late for that. I'm just looking for something to help maintain/add muscle as I drop the bodyfat off. Allready got the meal and workout stuff planned out. Never been big on supplements but figure i'll give 'em a go.
 
As Stoichi said, the only way to add bulk/lose bodyfat at once is the Bulking/Cutting intervals. You might take a look at this link off of Dr Squat. Ive found this diet (Zig Zagging) has worked good for me, as I have noticed strength improvements (while slight), and also a decreased weight over 2 weeks (I've dropped from 6'2" 216lbs to about 213/212lbs). It might not be for you, but it seems to lie along the lines of what you may be looking for. If you give it a go, post some info so we can all gain some knowledge on how it works out.
 
Your body needs protein for muscle building blocks and energy to build with. If you are quite a bit above your body's preferred BF%, then it is likely you will gain muscle/strength while losing fat. As long as you're getting adequate protein in your diet and lifting heavy with good recovery, your body will utilize fat stores for needed energy and building. If you are at or near your "set point" then to gain mass you must consume more calories than you burn.

That said - if you're OK with hormonal supps, 1-test (topical) or 1-AD (oral) are great. And ECA is good for energy and appetite control.
