whats the longest u have stayed up for sttaight?


2 summers ago i stayed up for around 48 hours straight..


fourth of july week and went nutty and then went to the western open and then went swimming and then played some golf then got so fuycking hammered

longest i can remember is my drive to florida last spring. got up at 9am, left at noon, checked into my hotel in florida at noon the next day, showered, hung out with my buddy, went to the wedding rehearsal dinner, then we went back to my hotel and split a 6-pack. i hadn't drank in probably a month, so 3 beers and no sleep...i had a good buzz going. i was up for 40 hours straight. it was enough for me.

i've done similar days while in the Marine Corps also. really sucks when you've got to stand a 24 hour post, then go to work in the morning immediately after getting off and then working a full day....and they expect you to be awake and functioning 100%. yeah, right! you'd usually get lucky and only have to work a 1/2 day after getting off post, but it just depended on what was going on that day.

That was fairly recently, done with nothing more than caffeine and willpower, coupled with the need to get something done as quickly as humanly possible.

A few years ago I used ice for around 10 days to work and study at the same time during a hectic week. I ate it and snorted it though. I slept 2-3 hours per day during that time, however.
 
Prolly about 42 hrs

coming back from mytrle beach, me and my girl woke up at about 8am, went to shonese for breakfast, then proceeded to drive back to mn, we were fueled by ciggy's and adderal, we arrived in MN the next day at about noon, got home, unpacked, went picked up the manimals, ate something, tried to sleep at about 2:00, laid there with the amphetimines still in my system for around an hour, got up, showered, bummed around, went to a party, finally went to bed around 1:00 am

I was mentally tired, and when I tried to sleep I couldnt, that sucked, almost like trying to fall asleep when your trippin
 
Dang I have you all beat by a long shot. 83 Hours. No Drugs, other than caffine, and natural adrenaline. Though there was a real reason for it, but not one I plan to share ever.
 
what i've noticed is that the longer you stay away from caffiene, the better you are. when i did my florida trip, i didn't touch a drop of coffee til about 3am. waiting that long really helped, but once you start on the coffee, you can't stop. sucks.

i read somewhere that driving after you've been awake is equivelant to driving with a .08 BAC. dunno how accurate that is, but i know a lot of times when i've been real tired, my driving has gone to shit. that's when i know it's time to pull over.
 
3 1/2 days with a couple friends and alot of speed back when i was younger and dumber. By the end of the third day i could have swore i was seeing cops hiding behing telephone poles and in the bushes lmao
 
I have no idea. I like my sleep too much to find out. The only thing that would keep me up that long is sex and I don't get many of those marathon sessions.
 
i drove from missouri to washington state in a 1988 chevy beretta with 65k miles on it and brand new tires, and i think there was a scratch on the drivers door. it took 4 days.

and i even know somebody that lives in new york

The heater was messed up in the bug and it stayed on the whole way.. So my feet were burning up and my hands were cold with the window open.

But life was grand.. LOL
 
that reminds me of the summer of 98. both me and my best friends cars were broke down, so we had to drive my fathers truck around, and the vents were messed up, some how all the hot air off the engine would come inside and roasted us, and that summer was the hottest in like 5 years, it got up to like 105 every day. anyways, we would drive around with the windows up to see who could last the longest, one time i almost passed out, it was so funny....:rolleyes:

I used to work graveyard at Fireston, when I would get off of work on friday morning I once stayed up until saturday noon partying. It was probably about 48-50 hours. never again... maybe

3 days and i swear i started hallucinating, crazy shit. I saw einstein directing traffic in vegas no joke.
 
65 hours of hell. I was working 2 jobs at the time. One was from 7:30am til 7pm and the other was 8pm til 7am so for three days straight I was up, living off of a lot of coffee and Xenadrine. It was hell on the final day, i could hardly keep my eyes open for our morning sales meeting. When I finally did get home, i thought I deserved a good meal so I started to cook up 1lb of hamburger meat. I then proceded to walk over to the couch and lay down while the meat simmered. I feel asleep on the couch and about 1hr later woke up to some burnt ass hamburger meat. I remember going to the stove and turning it off and that was it til the next day when I woke up in my bedroom, I don't know how I got there.

about 48 hours for me, it happened this summer. drove from new jsersey to ri and then back, i cant even really rmember all i do remember is i was at my gf house when i finally fell alseep on the couch, slept from like 7am to 5pm and was still tired
 
Once I stayed up for about 72 hours when I was camping when I was young.

I fell asleep while on a tube being pulled behing a boat. Man did I hit the water hard.
