Looking for a non heavy post work out drink

I know wrong forum btu as you all know not many people view the other forums regularly.

I have been using ABB drinks for years but I am looking for something else.

The big things are that they are not heavey and the fruit flavors are good.

Any info would be great (a mix/powder or pre mixed drinks are fine)

But im not looking for a heavy shake. I like the fruit punch taste and lightness of ABB products and am wondering if there are other companies out there with products like that.

Think coolaid with protein and potassium etc.
 
Personally I like the Isopure pre-mixed drinks for post-workout. they're much lighter than the heavy, milky shakes. Look for the glass bottles...the drinks are fairly clear, and they come in many different fruit flavors...most of which are pretty good.
 
2 scoops of Optimum Whey protein, 1 scoop of gatorade (not in the same shake of course).

Why not? I'll do a can of tuna mixed w/ diet coke in the blender when dieting. Drinking it is like eating bad box-but it's a lot less time consuming.
 
Biotest's Surge is the best of the best. Too bad it's rather pricey though.

I have heard about this before. I hate tuna and was thinking about it. I dont think I ever ate a BOX that bad..........well maybe close. :p I like muscle milk.

Geez, you remind me of myself. I will drink or eat any type of crap if it means progress. Right now I'm bulking and drinking mud thick shakes. Cheap ass vitamin world chocolate whey 4 scoops mixed in whole milk with olive oil. Thick sludge tasting mud, but hey, you do what you have to do!
 
you need some ON pro complex, it mixes easily with water 12-15 oz's. it's like drinking chocolate flavored kool aid. w/ 55 grams pf protein in it.
 
I like getting about to scoops of whey protein, some creatine and glutamine..Mix in blender with some skim milk and you got it..

but BC..you are the man!! I use the tuna shake with a scoop of whey and diet cocke all the time
 
DONT TRY THIS!!!!!!!

Big Cracker has some really really good advice on pretty much everything he responds to, BUT, I tried this....

I put two cans of tuna and a diet mountain dew into a blender... After plugging my nose I chugged the horrible concoction.... Almost all of it went down, then it all came back up. Everywhere, on my counters, cabinets, tile floor. Absolutely everywhere. It came out of my nose, mouth, ears and ass all at the same time.

It was the worst thing I have ever put near my mouth. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. It tasted like rotten fish inside a sweaty ass with a hint a citrus. And then texture is one that words cannot describe..

2 cups of Skim Milk
2 scoops of Whey Protein.
2 teaspoons of natural peanut butter
1 Banana
1/2 cup of Oats
1 teaspoon of honey

You can always change it to meet your own requirements.....................

I'd get fat as hell off of that. 2 cups of milk and I can't shit for 2 days=not worth it.

Tuna and diet soda or crystal lite in the blender is gross. I hold my nose and down the whole blender full at once. Maybe that's why I get so pissed when a chick won't swallow my load? Swallowing a tablespoon of my man chowder has to be easier than downing 20 ozs of tuna/diet soda parfait. lol

Maybe I'm being too insensitive? That's OK, I'll let her off the hook as long as I can spunk on her face instead. It's my way of letting her know I care about her and I'm willing to comprimise.
 
scoop muscle milk vanilla, half packet berry blast metrx, unreal shake. tastes so good i crave em when i'm high. i have a badass blender i crush ice with it as well and it is not thick at all
 
I like the isopure drinks as well in the glass bottles almost a clear colored liquid very light you can also buy them in powder form Alpine Punch is the best I think.

For a while, I've been drinking one of those glass isopure shakes with about 25g of dextrose mixed into it. Then when I get home, ill crunch on an oatmeal bar or some oatmeal cereal.. Its been working well...
 
I put my protein and maltodextrin in zip lock plastic bag with a straw. I keep this in my gym bag and add hot water from the sink right after my workout. I suck it up with the straw and throw the whole thing away when I'm done. No fuss no muss, nothing to wash and I get protein right away.
