I ask this because my natural test level is 27. Yes 27. I got a script about 18 months ago and have been using 400-600mg of Cyp/week. for 18 months straight. I stopped on Sept,1 as I stopped feeling the effects, and to clean out a bit. I took Viraloid for 2 months w/ good success and just started back on today 500mg after 2 months off. I don't get any sides and stay lean. I am 42 y/o, 6'1" 210lbs w/ 8%bf. How long would "you" stay "on".

I think I did 20 weeks one time. I was only planning on 10 weeks but my pct wasn't in place yet.
I always have it on hand before I start now!

When your test was 27 were you not recovered from a cycle? If so, that is the lowest I've heard of. I was as low as 140-160ng/dl with no juice involved. I've just been low all my life. Getting a script to run 400-600mg/wk is not necessarily the healthy route to take. Takeing Cyp to keep your total in the top 1/3 of the range is the safest route. You can take higher doses if your sure to keep all your other levels in line. It's still best to keep your endo system in balance.

I do have friends that have been on your size of dose for many years. (Most have had some health issues due to this). Even being on HRT I am sure to stay on for no more than a few months and then back to my hrt dose.

NS...my level was 27. I was off any aas for more than a year. I never did any "big" cycles. 500mg of test, 25mg of dbol. I never had any big growth spurts as a kid. Thanks for your info. So you think I should run 400-600 for 8-12 wks then back to 300 every other week for how long?

Depends on how much risk your willing to take. 250 mgs a week of test for life, you probably won't die from it. I've seen the studies where this amount was given to subjects for 2 years with no adverse effects. THe most dangerous risks are cardio and liver.

I I were being prescribed HRT from a qualified Dr. and getting decent inerval blood work, I would not mind being on for life. I would not "self prescribe" a HRT dose unless I had the money to spend on regular blood work for a while until I could get the levels adjusted to where I want them.

I wonder how many people have actually died from steroid use and what killed them?
