Long vs Short Hair?

I have medium length hair, it used to be long and I cut it a while back. Since then, i've been growing it and regretting that I ever cut it in the first place.

Wo what do you guys prefer your ladies to have long or short hair? My husband says no way to short hair. He says way too many girls cut their hair short when they get into their late 20s early 30s.

Hey TripleV, I am glad you asked this question. I have been considering getting my hair cut it is past my shoulder blades now (I was thinking around the top of the shoulders) . It is interesting that you regret getting yours cut . I am curious to see the results of this poll.

In general, I like long hair better.

However, it depends on the shape of your face. Some women look absolutely great with shorter hair that kinda curls around their face.

I think women with "rounder" faces can do short hair better than "longer" faces.

Top of the shoulders isn't short tho, IMHO.

I've had long hair, shoulder length hair, now short hair. My hair grows VERY fast so I have always had trouble keeping a cut looking nice. With my shorter cut now I can manage it easier!Every six weeks I get it trimmed rather than every three weeks.

Go with whatever length makes YOU feel and look sexiest.Some people CAN NOT wear short hair...SOME can!

My man wants me to keep my hair short now that he's seen how it looks! Men! Who can figure them out?

I am lucky in that I look very cute in short hair.....I had it REAL short twice in my adult life and both times it was very fun, young and fresh...but after like 3 months I was like - GROW ALREADY!!!

It has now been about 3 years since I had it very short (now down past the middle of my shoulder blades) and I love it, long curly wild and unruly (kind of like me - tee-hee!).

There are soooooo many good cute short hair cuts though.

I am just a bit past my twenties (hehehehehe - I've been 26 for like a few birthdays now) and I wanted to grow it long one last time while it was still appropriate, plus it is a definite plus in my line of work. I firmly believe though, when a woman gets to a certain age she should definitely keep it a bit on the shorter side (no longer than shoulder length).....but that is just my .02

I think you will see that most men prefer longer hair on a woman. Me, I do what appeals TO ME.

Long hair vs short hair. It all depends - face shape, age, hair type, hair condition, etc.

The best thing is to go to one of those video imaging places where you pick out haircuts you like and they image your face onto it. It's fun, and sometimes you're very surprised what looks good or bad on you.

i think most guys think of the typical beauty queen to have long hair, but women are so diverse that it really depends on the face, head and body structure of the woman.

personally I like medium to long hair, not a fan of the really short "boyish" type haircuts.

I love women with long hair... I'm also into blondes, but that is a whole 'nother thing.
But my definition of long varies - down to your butt is a little extreme - and not past the ears is too short.
but shoulder length or so is HOT on most women.
I've only met a few people that can really pull off short hair. and if one isn't lucky enough to be that type - then you have a long time to wait before it grows back.

I had boy short hair for years and was fortunate to have the features for it, yet, I longed for my long locks every time I saw another girl with this mane of beautiful hair.

So I let it grow.

Cut it shoulder length for a while and now I'm letting it get back to the middle of my back/waist area. The con is that it takes a painfully long time to dry but the pro is that a hair petting just feels sooooo good.



I think men generally love long hair on a woman but ultimately it should be the style that your hair flows best with and suits your frame and face structure.

Don't cut it short!!!! that was definately a regret. I have the face for it but my hair is too thick to be short.

Right now my hair reaches the bottom of my shoulder blades and has some layers. It's really thick and I love it and get compliments on it all the time. My boss at work keeps bugging me to cut it because he thinks women in a business feild with hair below shoulder length look unprofessional and girlish. I say too bad and just pull it back or pin it up for work. I'm only 21, I am NOT cutting my hair short!

That's EXACTLY what I did. I looked cute in short hair, but long hair is easier to mess with, you can just pull it up when your working out and stuff. Plus i think a lot of guys like girls with long hair. I know my b/f does.

If its looks good long then keep it long. I'm one of those unfortunate souls that looks like crap with long hair so I have to go with the short-medium look and just kid myself that it looks funky . But long is where the heart is - keep it long!
