lol @ the spotter

Props to the lifter for stepping out with that weight..........but whats up with going to at least parallel?

Also, whats with the older spotter running his fingers all over the lifter as he was setting up? That would freak me out :S

Agreed bro, the first thing I noticed was dude is squatting in jeans with knees' wrapped, and not going to parallel.

There's a few at my gym too. I can barely find a pair of jeans that fit me right, I most certaily am not going to work out in them.

ive seen the owner of my gym come onto the floor and remove people who were wearing jeans.

What? Thats how you do squats.

i think hes referring to the fact that either way its a shitload of weight and the guy was getting down lower than a quarter rep and slightly higher than parallel so it is still impressive. not powerlifter impressive but better than the high school guys with 5 plates moving 2 inches.

Oh, Well I'm a firm believer that you shouldn't do a weight if you can't do it right, but that's just me. :)

ya if he was doing like 1 inch squats on a smith with 700 lbs i'd laugh but guy was getting near parallel.. i doubt alot of people could even unrack that weight.

i go low on smith squats, lmfao cuz my quads are big just cuz of those, baby leg presses and rainbow leg extensions

i'll leave the squatting to the power liftaz!!

those did not look bad to me. Sometimes to push yourself to get stronger you have to go heavier........to which you're not going to go to absolute parallel.........but those were close enough for me
