loading syringe from amp

I looked on the search page but could not find.Do you just open the amp and take the handle off the back end of the syringe and poor liquid in and put handle back on syringe?

I can't believe I am going to answer this.

You need two needles so you don't stick yourself with a dull pin. The first needle should be as 18 gauge "drawing" needle. Take your needle off your syringe and put on a "drawing needle. Don't let the one that was on there touch anything. Hold it between two fingers while you put the drawing needle on the syringe. Now take the cap off the drawing needle and put it in the amp (I will assume you've opened the amp by this point) and suck up the oil into the syringe. Then take the drawing needle off and put the original needle back on.

Some guys (not me) do pull the plunger out (making sure not to touch the rubber stopper against anything) and pour directly into the barrel. It's not that bizarre of a question. I do think using a drawing needle is probably a better practice.
