Can't help you there since I've never even been to the rose much less any of the other country bars in town. The Electric Cowboy in westminster is a trip as they play about half country and half hip hop. I go there for the cheap drinks and to watch the sillyness.

Plus I don't dance.

yeah, I dont go there due to the ex factor, but that's how the stampede is and the cowboy lounge also...

I lived in small (ish) town Arkansas for almost 10 years, had a serious gf and a lake house which occupied most of my time, while my job was a night job. I've been out here for a year and a half and have started venturing out of the neighborhood bars for the first time. I realized I like somewhat formal dancing. Fuck me running for not figuring out all this sooner.
