I keep reading about organ pain. How do you tell the difference between Liver pain and back pain? I have some pain in my lower back, but I just figured it was from heavy squating( happened before ). I'm just alittle confused on how people are targeting specific organs.

you should be able to tell whether or not the pain is coming more internally than your back (muscles).
If when you bend the pain doesnt increase then the pain is probably coming from your insides.
there is a subtle difference...:fro:
good luck man,

You are unlikely to feel any pain from your liver, unless your on your last legs. Internal pain in that area could be a host of things ,galbladder and pancreas may hurt like hell, could also be something as simple as gas or a strained muscle. When in doubt get checked out.

Here are some additional signs of kidney trouble:

Symptoms

Acute symptoms:

blood in the urine
flank pain, severe
abdominal pain
back pain
nausea, vomiting
abdominal swelling
fever (sometimes)
decreased alertness
drowsiness, lethargy
coma
increased heart rate
pale skin
sweating
skin cool to touch

Chronic symptoms:

irritability
weight loss
constipation (with toxic injury, lead poisoning)

If your liver is hurting, its likey been getting damaged for awhile. You can try to feel your liver under your lowest right ribs. Try taking a deep breath so the lungs will expand and your liver will come down. This depends on your body style....thin people can touch their livers easier. Go to a lab and get a serum liverprofile......a blood test. If your liver hurts, your ALT and AST will be high. Stop whatever you are doing to damage your liver and it should get better unless you have some medical problem such as hepatitis.

Kidneys will likely hurt more in your back (but can radiate forward along your flanks) since they are retroperitoneal...which is a fancy way of saying they are behind a certain compartment in your body that includes most oof your other major organs. Could be lots of other things too like what was mentioned...gallbladder, stomach, etc.

Thanks bros, I'm sure it's just the back acting up again. Other than the back pain, and it's not all that bad, I'm fine. I did go to a chiropractor he said it's just muscle spasms. But he's not a real doctor. Please all chiro's don't flame me for that. Just kidding. The only reason for the post was I've read a few posters that seem to be able to know which organ is giving them pain. And I just don't see how that's possible.
