Liver damage

I don't know why I do do searches & read this shit, it always scares the hell outta me. Someone commented on the lenght of time I'm on D-bol 15-17 weeks So I started searching for more information on liver damage/disease. Recently, there have been several posts about being tired on d-bol and screwed up sleep patterns. So, I found that those are actually symptoms of the begining stages of liver damage. What I wanna know is, are they sides from D-bol or symptoms of liver probs? My last cycle, I was on for 13-15 weeks and I had liver tests done & everything was fine w/out taking anything to protect durring the cycle. I only went up to 30mg though. This time I went up to 45mg for 1 week then pyramid back down. I'm starting to take ALA hoping this will help. I'm not really panicing or anything, I'm fully aware of the negative possibilities of AS and think that they are an exception & abuse problem for the most part. Would you call my cycle, abuse? I don't think it is but maybe I'm wrong. I'm still pretty new to the game, it's only my 3rd cycle. Here is the entire list of possible symptoms from one of the sites I visited.

Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes)
Nausea, vomiting and/or loss of appetite
Yellow urine
Grey or pale coloured stools
Change of sleep patterns
Vomiting of blood or the passing of blood in the stools
Tiredness or loss of stamina
Abdominal swelling caused by: a large liver or a large spleen or excess fluid in the abdomen (ascites)
Itching
Poor weight gain
Abdominal pain

Not intended to freak anyone out, just thought others might like to know. knowledge is power.

Well, I was going to post my results soon since I just got my blood/urine work back.

I was on Dbol for 12 weeks, going to to 75mhs ED at the top, in addition to test at 800 mgs per week for 8weeks. I took about 600 mgs of ALA thruout the cycle.

MY liver, kidney and heart functioning was normal. As far as the symptoms you've researched, som of them are always experienced while on AS: change in sleeping patterns, abdominal swelling (could be prog. related bloat).

I think everyone should get blood and urine work done while on and off AS just to ease the mind.

I'm also getting a stress test done in two weeks (I already had the EKG).

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Dbol and other 17aa should be taken for 8 wks MAX

I usually keep them down to six. Newbie's let this be a lesson to do plenty of research before you start putting drugs in your body.

Johnboy: In general I agree with what you've written....but as I said before, I was on Dbol for 12 weeks and had the blood, urine and heart work done at the very end of the cycle, and my results were normal. So if my liver, kidney and heart functioning is normal why do I have to keep it at 8weeks? It seems my tolerence is greater.

In general I agree the 8 week rule is a rule of thumb, but it may vary for specific users. For some 8 weeks may be way too much, for others like me our bodys can take more abuse.

If one wants to find out how THEIR particular body will react to AS, what better way than proper medical testing, not just rules of thumb.

It usually takes until 4-6 weeks for me to start really gaining, feeling and showing the effects. after 10 - 11 it tapers off. I do the extra to taper and attempt to keep as much as possible. My results were all normal after my last 13 week cycle of d-bol only.

Dbol for 12 weeks, going to to 75mhs ED at the top

blood tests came back normal! Why is it many of us do a 1 to 5 weeker of dbol instead of going for longer cycles, since I honestly LOVE that shit.
