Any of you guys ever had this kind of thing happen? I have been working out for ten years and have had a couple minor injuries. Little pec tears and so on.
Well yesterday my locker called and told me my half beef was done so I went to get it. So i grabbed a couple big totes and went in. The guy warned me I had a lot and I was like hell just put all of it in these two totes. Well I went to man handle the first one and the minute I pulled it across the wet floor I felt a little naggy pain in my right bicep. Well make a long story short I think I tore it just a little bit. I can use it but this morning at the gym it hindered my lifts.
Another buddy of mine huge strong powerlifter tore his bicep climbing into his tree stand bow hunting deer. Any of you guys ever injured yourselves doing something that was very low key compared to your work outs?
Thanks for letting me vent!

that sucks man, i've never had any sort of muscle injury, just rolled ankles and cracked ribs and hyper extensions and the like for me. i chalk it up to daily stretching. ever since i heard that's why dogs live to be old as fuck in dog years i've been doing it. lol it sounds crazy but it's worth it if not for anything but the lack of injuries and improved flexibility.

Ive been injured in some of the most crazy ways you can think. I strained a neck muscle really bad by just turning my head to look at someone whil I was unscrewing an oil cap. Put me down for about 10 days.

I was helping a friend sound proof his garage for a recording studio. I had been slangin' drywall all week. No problems at all.

We got to the last wall, and I was cutting the existing drywall out with a sawzall. I bent down to saw out the last piece to the floor and all of a sudden I had this shooting pain down my lower back into my ass. It knocked me to the floor for about 10 minutes. The pain finally subsided and I got up and walked away. Pain went away for the rest of the day.

The next morning, I woke up and my lower back was hurting as I layed in bed. I got up and the moment I tried to stand up, I just fell to the ground. I couldn't stand up. I tried time and time again and it was not just that it hurt, but I couldn't straighten my back and stand up. Long story short, I couldn't walk for 3 days. I could barely get out of bed, and I had to crawl everywhere.

I got really freaked out, I thought I threw out my back for good. I finally decided I needed to go to the doctor. Then the next day I woke up, the pain was gone... And it never came back. Years later, I am fine and the pain never came again.

It was one of the scariest experiences of my life.

I hurt my neck doing hammerstrength shoulder press machine with just 2 plates. I couldnt move it to the left for a whole day and thought i would have to see a Chiropractor. The next day I'm at the gym tryin to stretch it out maybe do some type of workout and I see the gym Massage therapist(Donna) and told her what happened and she twisted my neck a certain way with her hands then told me to move my neck around and I was healed by her voodoo magic.

My whole right biceps tore away three weeks post surgery while I was carefully taking my shirt off. LOL. If you do that you will definately know it. You will see it fall or climb up your arm and YOU WILL FEEL IT. lol.

Bro, i understand 4 years ago I ruptured 2 disk. Had to have surgery. Its hard for me to do squats..

Its better today. I went in this morning did some leg work calves and a light chest routine. When the bar got down around my chest I could feel that same nagging pain I had yesterday. I am taking it slow and easy for the next few days. I am just glad it wasnt to the point where I couldnt workout. I watched for bruising and that never came so that told me it was minor for the most part!
