There is a bunch of tough Marine talk on this thread but nobody has mentioned the fact that the Marines top unit just begged congress to assign them under SOCOM because they know the SF guys are pulling all the good missions right now. It seems kind of funny that if they are so hard there in the Marines than why are their best begging to be like me?

Bottomline CB is let them all talk the talk because we know the Army is the one really pushing weight for this country.

If you noticed, I haven't talked much shit on this thread. For one, I haven't been in very long and two...I let my actions speak. I'm ARMY proud and that's all I need to say.
It's funny, when I was at MEPS getting ready for shipping, there were a bunch of young punk kids going to the Marines...All they did was talk about how bad ass they are and how they're the toughest thing next to 100 year old leather........lol.....Are they all the same or what.....

BEGGING to be like u.. hahah for ONE the new special ops unit the Marines are starting is just that NEW so no unit is begging to be like u....the reason we dont have a spec ops unit until now is that one of the requirements is to allow other service members to join WE didnt want that so RECON(im assuming thats what u were refering to) was never "special forces" secondly the Marines have had "special forces" units int eh past just never joined the SOCOM community. Thirdly the ENTIRE Marine Corps is special ops capable in less than 24hrs. Fourthly another reason we dont want anyone in our groups is because we dotn trust other services as a whole...we are the best so we only want the best. the army is the onlyone pushing the weight? HA if they are its PURELY by #s only not by performance....time and trime again the army gets credit for the things Marines do....time and time again the army gets rescued by Marines..time and tiem again the Marines are the FIRST to fight and the LAST to leave. we get teh crappiest equipment and the least money of any service we have the smallest numbers and could still kick anyones ass...WHY? CUS WE ARE GOD DAMN FUCKING MARINES and thats what we do. I have much respect for delta force and green barets i have done that and who knows if i even could. they are about the only good the army has to offer. dot tell me we want to be liek u when thats the FARTHEST from the truth. and out of curiosity what SF r u in? and please dotn say rangers lol

we are all alike...it takes a diff bread to be one of us...yeah we have douche bags so do the other branches but as a whole we are the best and we are the toughest and we have history to back us up. we are liek rugby players take a diff bread to play rugby...and all the girls go play football with their padding
