In the case that the fat that you are looking to reduce isn't a very large amount there is an alternative, Lipostabil. It is a new product that I have personally seen work!! I have a friend who is currently taking it and the results are amazing. He is fit to begin with but he almost had a double chin and you could see his abs but they weren't pronouced. Now his 2nd chin is gone and his abs are very much separated!!! the difference is amazing. I also have a co-worker that goes to a doc in florida that uses it (alhough it is not fda approved) and she enjoys the results as well although she is short and big-boned (to be polite). One other thought - the doctor might address...when you take it from one area - it seems to find another area to expand in - even though the fat loss in the lipo'd area is gone for good. I think there's something to be said for fat set point. I have seen a few female clients have this happen...get butt and thighs done and then the waist and flank area gets bigger - then they go back...get that done and the arms get fat where they had none before...some times seems like they're in a never ending cycle of lipo. It does take a while in the compression garments too.

And the compression garments are very hot, so don't get it done in warm weather!! And be prepared to not be able to exercise for a few weeks.
