Lipoflame

claire said:
It has never happened with Amp02 but I have a protein drink with it that has 55 grams of carbs.

Amplify02 has nearly the SAME amount of Niacinamide that LIPOFLAME has:)

so you see the minor co-injestion with food and water will solve it.

The only thing I am sad about is that I could not answer your PM this morning :(
so I could have comforted you faster :artist:

Niacinamide (also called nicotinamide) is not no-flush niacin. They're different things.
Maybe I haven't been quite clear here.

Flushing is not a side-effect of niacinamide. You seem to have confused no-flush niacin with niacinamide. Niacinamide is not no-flush niacin.

If this effect was caused by the product then it was brought on by a different ingredient than niacinamide.

not really its the Niacinamide

Niacin is nicotinic acid which is generally not well tolerated

Niacinamide is nicotinamide which is tolerated much more widely but may still cause a flush which is very Uncommon but can still occur, it is generally considered "NO FLUSH" niacin, so much so that it is used in the FOOD industry as a fortifier.

Then we have inositol hexanicotinate it has almost no possibility of flush but also feels rather inert in formulation and does not give that energy we seek

if we disagree then thats fine

having sold MANY units this has been the consensus that has been found that its the Niacinamide

also another company uses Niacinamide in a preworkout products and it had the same effect for some just as Amplify02 does for some as well.

Blut it pretty well known that this can occur so if it new to you now you know
no biggie.

And I also glad this post was made so people can be aware of this very UNCOMMON occurrence and how the minor addition of food and extra water may solve it.

that all I have to say on the matter and you may PM if you want to "talk" more

Can I ask if you smoke?

I started taking Lipoflame a little over two weeks ago. This morning I decided to take it before cardio. I increase dosage form 3 capsules to 5. This was recommended before cardio. I took the capsules and went back to bed waiting for them to kick in. My face felt funny so I got up and looked in the mirror. My face swelled up and was red. My whole body turned red. Called the emergency room and they told me to take benadryl. Swelling went down right away. It was about 1 hour and 45 minutes before the red went away. I am fine now. My body looked like I had a sun burn.

I just wanted to add. I love amp02 so this is not meant to be a slam against Omega. I will continue to take amp02.

Agreed niacinamide and Inositol Hexanicotinate (no flush niacin) are not the same chemical. The reason why I wonder if she smokes is because Nicotinic Acid (niacin) is a metabolite of nicotine

I like both Lipoflame as well as Amp02.

The only thing I'd likely change about Amp02 is the color on the bottle. I'm sure a lot of people use it with their Lipoflame, as an adjunct to that product (which helps suppress appetite)...but the colors of the Amp02 bottle (Red & Yellow) have actually been found to stimulate appetite.

Those are, if you notice, the colors of Wendy's and Burger King, as well as McDonalds.
