Now for you musician geeks - I just got the Line 6 guitar port w/rifftracker.

Bitches - why didn't you tell me how awesome it was? I finally spent the $200 and got it, and it allows you to play (like a midi) right into your computer, and use whatever amp, effect, tone you want. It's awesome.

And it records, tunes, use drumming samples. It's AWESOME for writing songs. I record all night long anything that comes to mind. Throw bass and drums to it, and boom - within minutes have a fully polished song. Ready to lay vocals on top of.

Nice, I have a line 6 LOWDOWN LD300 PRO that I use for a practice at home or with friends..... Line 6 is good product man. BTW I am American.

Is this better than using a Roland guitar synth? I would imagine it is far more complicated to learn to use than the Roland guitar synth.

When just playing around the house, I love a synth for horn sounds... its funny cuz you learn those horn lines and add them to your ways of playing and it opens many doors.... plus they just sound cool.
