Light Day Training Ques

Quick Question:

When doing a 'light day', do you still go to muscle fatigue/failure???

I know it's not good to lift heavy all the time (even though I would prefer it... my attention span doesn't like going beyond 12 reps! ) so when you do go light, are you still hitting failure with this lighter load, or is there not as much muscle breakdown happening?

Thanks!

Exactly the question I've been pondering! If you go lighter, you can do more reps, so do you do those reps, up to failure, or just take it easy for that workout?

W6 - I saw in one of your threads how you dropped the weight and the number of sets for light days for your Nationals client:

Does she go slower to increase the intensity? Or make an effort but not maximum effort?
