I am feeling more and more depressed about life.. I am a 27 year old man that still lives with mommy and daddy. I have had a steady job at the car wash but lost it to cheaper mexican workers. And my car it breaks down so much my mechanic has a pet name for it. Life is looking bleak, friends at elite I have even thought about ending it all (suicide) . I am scared mother will see this thread at beat my neck with a wooden spoon.

it is like asking the man at a bottom of a well to look around at the beautiful moutains outside the well.
he can't see them - he needs to get out of the well first.

but I assure you man - as someone myself that has been through depression badly over and over again, and likely will in the future as well - things will get better.

in the end, you have control.

if need be, see a doctor and get meds and counseling - do what you need.
in the end, it is up to you what happens.
