yep pretty much....maybe cell phones but we're not talkin smartphones. Probably have 20 year old cars too. They may also now own orginal ps1's, ps2's may now be dropping into that price range but nobody at poverty line level is buying a $500 video game system or $2000 hdtv's. That's just unfettered hallucinating on the parts of people like you who are trying to make reality fit their predetermined notions.

yes that's what I'm saying unless they're pulling in cash from auxiliary sources...which I know they do. For people not engaging in that no, they don't....do you find a few people in the country who may be getting helped out by other family members and that along with their govt. assistance allows them these things...sure I guess you'll find statistical outliers. But if you actually spend any amount of time with poor people you wouldn't be having this discussion with me.

if you think you "know" that there are poor people left and right in this country just propping up our economy with all their high end electronics purchases...by all means post up your "proof". I am in no mood to get into any bet with you because I can see where that's going already. You are a politician you will dance the night away if you find just one set of poor people who have an xbox. Problem is you can't prove that any poor people who do have these high value electronics purchases bought them with their 9k salary. I mean a $2000 tv is 20% of what some of these people make in a whole year and you're telling me they're living fat just from their poverty line wages?
Obviously alot of these people are pulling in income from other places.....
