Because you have what's called "principal". It goes something like this...if it's wrong it's wrong, even if your guy is POTUS. It's so galling that any conservatives are angry in the "slightest" about this NSA stuff because liberals were screaming this was going to happen as Bush was laying the groundwork. Case in point Cheney comes out the other day defending the NSA. He has to, his fingerprints are all over this.

Agreed. Obama spelled "hope and change". Come to find out hope is lost and nothing's changed.
I guess that why his hair is much more grey now then when it was when he first took office. If you trash all your principals to fit what some in uniform feel a President should do , then I guess you'd have trouble sleeping at night....

1. He was supposed to end Guantanamo bay and hasn't
2. The torture was supposed to end and I guess it has. Instead of capturing , he just sends drone's to assassinate and he ok'ssome collateral damage of women and kids along the way
3. The Patroiot Act spying that he denounced during the Bush term, he has accelerated
4. The President that denounced the arrest of his Harvard Professor friend in his first term, doesn't even speak on police brutality issues anymore. Hell he praised the Occupy Wall street mass arrest in Chicago for that matter

He's made Mitt Romney look good with all this flip flopping....

I'm all for defunding NSA till they come clean.

I liked our aggressive response to terror.

I even liked (at the time) the gamble we took on nation-building -- which in hindsight was far too expensive in blood and treasure.

I liked Barry blowing-up terrorists with drones instead of capturing them.

I liked Barry finishing the job on OBL.

But what they are doing to ordinary Americans now is criminal. Time to shut to down.

I find it interesting that during a conservative administration, they can do no wrong by their constituents. Proverbial head in the sand "meesa see noothhhiin". But in a liberal administration that looks to be mired in some unethical BS, liberals are hopping mad. There's a certain principaled and moral consistency to this no?

I for one use to be a bush supporter until I woke up. They've all had policies taking us in this direction so it's not even about parties anymore to me at least. It doesn't matter which talking head you get into office.
