Levon Kirkland..is pretty jacked, I was just on a plane with him

Last week I had a flight from Seattle to Detroit and Levon Kirkland was sitting across from me. He's huge for a linebacker, he weighs around 270-275 at 6"1. The sleeves on his suit jacket looked like they were ready to tear apart. He was very cool and humble.

I do believe he is also enjoying the finer things in life....ANABOLICS!!!

It totally sucks that Pittsburgh let him go. He was by far my favorite player on the Steelers.

Hated to see him go too. Was my favorite player on the team just like Lloyd was when he went. But business is business and hopefully we'll contiue to see awesome play from rest of the Steeler linebackers.

the steelers really should have tried harder to sign the guys they have lost over the last 5 years or so.... save the money spent on that shit offense and just send the d out to play arena style 2 way.

They had Kirkland signed. It was his $6 million salary this year that cost him. I would like to see them keep more players, but you can only do so much without killing your team for the long run (i.e. Dallas, San Francisco, maybe Washington here shortly). Remember who was one of the best teams when Dallas and SF was? The Steelers and they haven't fallen that far. Hopefully they'll have a good O-line again, if they do they will be poised to make some noise again. We'll see if they can do it or not this year.
