It's almost game time...

Squat:
1st :500
2nd:550 miss
3rd:575 easy

Bench:
1st:400
2nd:425
3rd: 440 was NOT expecting that considering how my bench training has gone.

Deadlift:
1st:500
2nd:525
3rd:550 miss

Total:1540@267

Now you know how strong Hannibal is...at least for the time being.

Hey! Didn't you say you were gonna do like 1600 raw by May?!? J/K...

You did great. This was the first meet where you seemed relaxed, and had a real attitude of just having a great time and doing your best. I think you did better than you thought you would because you didn't have the pressure of high expectations. This was a fun mid point meet, that was done under the worse possible conidtions for your training, gear experience, etc... A few more months of preparation, learning the equipment that you JUST got (weeks before this meet), etc...you should be good to go!

Great job!

...and thanks Kimbo. Another great meet out of Tulsa. You and Gorrell have some big fans in KC. :)

So are ya happy with your total? I am always nervous until I get one lift in of each lift, anyways good work, hope to see ya at a meet sometime.

Squat and bench were...I deadlifted 550 at my last meet. By the time I was supposed to pull I was dead...need to get my work capacity up.

Great numbers, Hannibal. It sounds like you just need a little more work in your new equipment and you will be pushing that 1,800+ lb. total. Good luck!

You did a great job, man!

This is the first meet I've been to purely as a spectator, and I was glad I got to be there just to watch Hannibal compete. He definitely gave it his all, kept his focus, and did what he had to do. It was a little tense before the opening squat, then after that, it was all good.

The highlight for me was watching him come off the bench after his 3rd attempt, seeing it had passed, and laughing in spite of himself for having exceeded his own expectations. :)

As always, we've got pictures and videos for everyone, but just like the last comp, my PC has decided to not work upon my return.

As soon as I can get back up and running, we'll get the multimedia extravaganza up and running.

You know I am proud...

Find those weaknesses and just DO THE WORK!!!

Thanks brotha...you know thats the plan. BTW...how far is Penn from Kentucky? Might need another handler...feel like a road trip?

Are you crazy...you'd be better off saving for two plane tickets. Won't want to lift anything after that drive!

Why yes, in fact I am crazy, but in this caseI am very sane. The Road Trip was all Bfold...WE'RE FLYING. :)

I know nothing about pling man...I'm not the helper that YOU are to Spatts, Project, and everyone else with a bench shirt on at any contest...lol.

Let me know...
