Lestat... I just realized something!

funkyplunk is ALL up in Lestats shit

sooooooooooooooooooooo..fvcking paranoid man

Hmm... so is "liberal" someone who exploits the poor or someone who supports exploiting the poor? That's a tough call!

And what's with this "supporting" crap? Either you do something to help, do something to hurt or do neither. "Support" is a bunch of cheap talk and hollow words in either direction.
yeah, I definitely fall into this category: Actively engaged in the cause

I could probably do more, you can always do more, and I'm not perfect (never claimed to be) but I don't sit by idle.

its good for my post count, plus I am always flattered when someone takes such an active interest in my life!

Are people more willing to donate time than money?
Lestat is probably worth $50/hr.
So if he donated 200 hours a year (about 4 hours a week) that would equal $10,000.
Plunkey probably is worth a little more per hour, so he'd have to volunteer a few more hours a week.
That could be fun.

that is another great idea. I probably do between 40-80 hours per year right now, so stepping that up to 200 would be quite an increase, but its more feasible for me than cash right now.

slut i know more about ur life than most of my friends!!!

r
hahahahahahah glad to hear you take such an active interest in your friend's lives (and that you read everything you can about me!)

No offense to anyone here, but I don't have the time to keep up with what everyone has going on. There are lots of interesting people here that I know nothing about.

I'm thinking about that... it would be interesting to see what happens.

It's a crap shoot.
I've seen very poor people get large settlements.
Some people use it to go back to school and get their families in a good place.
Some blow it quickly and then get all money obsessed.

I do like your idea, and I'm wondering if we could do an EF sponsored charity, it wouldn't be compulsatory, and people could give according to what they could afford. maybe you could match that amount if you really do have 10,000 you can easily part with, it sounds like you are setup very nicely as you own a home (i don't know anything else of your personal financial details) but I think you are onto something really cool here.

Why does it always start with someone else's money though? Its an interesting form of deflection, but it seems like all good intentions have to start with the individual -- not by forcing one person's good intentions on another person's wallet.
