Less weight gives me more energy....

I am too busy to lift due to a "deadline" for remodeling a house.

Am finding that being lighter makes movement easier and increases productivity.

Leaving me about one reason to lift. Women.

Does that makes it worthwhile? I doubt it unless vacation is looming. Thoughts of women dominate vacations.

Testosterone fueled vacations. Sigh.....the stuff dreams are made of.

Being lighter allows you to do much much more things
I am thinking of scrapping the weights.

Sure it boosts sex appeal but I'm really not a very sexual person.

I think my personality is somehow better when I don't lift. Lifting makes me sore for two days as well. Tired of being sore.

Maybe you should keep the wieghts but go on a more brief workout schedule. Just compond movements like:

Mon.
Bench x 1
Deadlift x 1

Wed.
Squat x 1
Abs x 1

Fri.
Military Press x 1
Lat Rows x 1

Thats a solid idea. Five sets of everything is just too daunting when my work load is exceptionally full.

I'm very much the same way. I do a very brief workout. About 3 or 4 exercises with only 1 set of warm ups and 1 set of actually heavy shit.

the extra energy won't last for long.

You don't have to be a hardcore lifter but resistance training of some kind should be a part of your life for a long time to come.

lummy=yummy

I would agree with you to a degree but soon if you don't catch up it will start to break you down after awhile! And everyone over 25 knows what I mean!

cool. you don't wanna be a fat ass anyway. It's not attractive.

being lighter definately has its advantages-- being in shape when you are a woman definately has its advantages- but when it boils down to it - as a woman, as long as I am in shape- heavy guys are nice.
