leg day woo hoo

ok so i am going to try and start posting some of my training up on this board as there sometimes seems a lack of females, lol.

today was leg day, i almost threw up..so i had a good day...i cant walk, but hey..its all good..lol

squats on power rack
Warm up - 95lbs for 2 sets of 15

140 x 10
150 x 8
200 x 8
250 x 6

good mornings
Warm up - 60lbs for 2 sets of 15

75 x 10
85 x 10
90 x 10
145 x 8

seated sled calf raises
Warm up 100lbs 2 sets of 15

360 x 25
360 x 25
360 x 25
360 x 25

seated calf raises
No warm ups

90 x 10
90 x10
90 x10

quad raises

100 x 10
125 x 10
170 x 10

hamtring pulls

90 x 10
180 x 8
195 x 8

i also did a few other things that i cant list as i cant think anymore..i am a little off with the pounds as i am cutting right now :bawling:

damn....now i think i will go throw up, lol

oh yea, for those of you that dont know my stats...i am 4'11 115lbs.

no i don't want to be a powerlifter..i am into bodybuilding :) ..i seem to have been lucky and got great genetics, lol. kronk is always pissed at me for that...my legs have always been strong and i think that my height plays a big role...i have a lower center of gravity...i always go parallel or below but never ass to ankles...my back couldn't take that...

oh yea i will try posting my stuff daily for sure... :kiss:

Do you ever experience this;

You and maybe 4/5 others actually work legs hardcore. Everyone else in the gym sticks to their upper bodies and wears tank tops. you don't by chance wear full sweats and winter hats like me do you?
 
Hey Polish I can help answer that one. She is the only female at the gym that works legs like that, the only one. Maybe about 3-5 guys do it like her. SHe is intense as hell.

Funny thing is, she has an Animal stocking hat she wears, LOL
 
I am going to copy this to womens. This is what I'm talking about!!

250x6 squat, 115 pound woman. Over 2x bodyweight, and not even training for strength. Who knows what she would do for one, and I don't think she uses lifting gear...I think she goes ATF too, not sure.

I love it when there is no line between form and function.
 
Impressive! I bet half the men in the gym (you know the type I mean) shuffle away in pure shame when you go to town.

My goodness - you're a strong one, aren't you? Maybe you should consider PL. What's your 1RM on the squat? Influence me, girl!

i am not sure what my 1RM is at this point....honestly i have never tried over 275 and i could barley get that up once..(that was a year ago) ..i never wanted to go real heavy on one reps or even normal sets....i just have a fear of tearing something or really hurting my back....with my height and my si joint issues, i have to stay where it feels "good"
 
Wow, 250 for 6! That is impressive. How long have you been training Kronkette? Those are some very impressive lifts.

Right on Kronk. Not may people, guys included, train legs hardcore. I used to hate leg day, until I started doing proper heavy squats.
Was just telling the girlfriend last night when we were doing legs to get rid of the the little girly weight plates on the bar, and pile on some womanly plates. Heavy and hardcore is the way to go.:p

Right on Kronk. Not many people, guys included, train legs hardcore. I used to hate leg day, until I started doing proper heavy squats.

i have trained since high school but not like i do know...i was very athletic growing up, doing gymnastics and that type of thing....however, after i had my daughter, that is when i got very serious....so i guess about 6 years....the last 2 years is when i would feel that i real got focused, learned intensity, and figured out that a lot of bodybuilding is mental, it really is, if you visualize and see yourself doing it you can....

inspire yourself....every woman here can do things that they never imagined...hell if you have ever had kids, you can freaking move mountains....if you have not had kids, the power is there as you are female!!!! grrrrrrrr!

Absolutely amazing-once again I am in awe of what women can do!!! Today was my squat day as well, no high #s here, but next week. Thanks for the inspiration-valerie
 
Well, I finally got my butt off the smith machine and started doing "real" squats. I'm still trying to get my form down and my numbers aren't anywhere near yours, but just had to say how much this thread is inspiring me. I can't wait to squat like a big girl!
 
Way to go, Kronk!

I'm just happy I found my ass in my squat last week!
(i.e. found my form and actually felt it in my butt)

I announced it to the household, and got some weird looks, but I was proud nonetheless.
