Learning to train like a strongman

Any good resource for someone to learn about training like a strongman? I have no desire to compete, more of a personal desire to be strong.

I've trained like a bodybuilder for years, ie. whatever bodypart 1-2x per week. I really have no desire to see my abs with such definition anymore. So I want something to help me make the transition from thinking about bodyparts to thinking about my body as a whole.
 
Some good books can be found on ironmind.com-"Dinausour Training", "Rock,Iron,Steel"

Start lifting odd objects and be creative with them, go to a wooded area and lift rocks and logs, go to a junk pile and just lift,carry,and drag things.
Train your grip HARD, do overhead lifts with one hand instead of 2 with straight bars,thickbars, and sandbags and do one hand snatches,deadlifts.
Do holds of all types and use a powerrack for heavy lockouts.

Kidding-- you dont have to give up ab definition- thats just putting on bodyfat not gaining strength.
