I've never used a fat burner before & am a little nervous about trying one.....but am a little open to it now.

The two you mentioned -- good ones?

Yes, very. If you've never taken a fatburner before, you'll probably love them - although for that very same reason you should start LOW - one cap a day and work up. I've been taking stimulants off and on for years, and one was quite enough for all day for the first few days.

Ephedrine-based stimulants are fun if you want a little buzz and the energy of a tasmanian devil (that's what they always made me feel like anyway), but they don't actually increase your metabolism much, and some people dislike being so wired.

What Thermorexin did for me was kill my appetite stone dead, and give me incredible mental focus (not to be confused with a "wired" feeling, more like a focused and "smart" feeling) as well as lots of energy. It also warmed me up, and gave me a funny feeling in my stomach similar to those "first love" butterflies - I think that was my favorite part after the fat loss. :) I lost a lot of water, and more fat more quickly than I'd ever lost on an over-the-counter fatburner before. I would compare the strength and duration of the appetite supression to phentermine, except without the mood disturbances most people experience on that drug - myself included. :insane:

I remember reading about a man on the anabolic forum who lost a respectable amount of weight without changing his diet, and he wasn't even lifting at the time - pretty big feat. The thread is here: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=251832

I also bumped another thread for you on this forum.

Hope you love it as much as I do! :)

I'd like to also add to this that if a person has been addicted to stimulants (i.e amphetamines) in the past, like myself, the perpetual wired up buzz you get from ephedrine based products can kind of push your addiction buttons. I'm not suggesting you're going to end up relapsing into drug abuse, but serious addiction is a slippery slope and seemingly inocuous drugs like this can be kind of dangerous to an abstinence based recovery plan.

About how long does it take to see results with something like this? I've used Xenadrine in the past but I felt so wired I gave up before I saw any changes. I'm interested in adding a fat burner to my program, but most of them seem like all hype and no substance...
