Sorry Im not an anabolic board frequenter but I have to agree with this. Hulkster, by posting all of his info on the board I am sure there is some legal action he could take against you if something does happen to him or his property.

And what about the legal action that would come against LaundrySupplies? Once the police start an investigation into why "anything" would occur, they would immediately discover why he was targeted. And once they find that out, they will come smashing through his door looking for gear and his computer(s). So it's safe to say that LaundrySupplies won't be calling the police anytime soon. What's worse: face "retribution" from a scammed customer, or get arrested and probably jailed for possession and distribution of AAS?

Ok Im not arguing with that, but like Riker29 said you have to be willing to risk legal action if you go through with something like you guys are talking about.

So, by saying you know that he ripped people off, then you know he was involved in illegal activity, which makes YOU a party to it. I mean, how would you KNOW for a fact?

So, lets see, if he did NOT do anything and was not involved, its slander.

If he was, then you are involved in trafficking drugs because you have direct knowledge.

See?

And if someone takes action based on your info, you may be held partially liable.

Sorry bro, but this is where the ex-high-school-macho-dude mentality runs right into The Real World - and I aint talking some MTV show.

Hey if you want to take these risks, go right ahead. I just hope for yoru sake that know over-zealous kid takes matters into his hands and hurts someone, based on the info you provided.

I am very very surpised that the guys running the board let this go on. Although, based on some stuiff I have seen go on behind the scenes, I guess I should not be too surpised.

They let it continue because what other defense do we have against scammers? Without the threat of retribution on some level, scammers would become even more brazen than they are now. Since the police and/or judicial system cannot get involved in such matters, we must form our own "court" of sorts.......remember, this is supposed to be a brotherhood.

Well put. In this scenerio we are our brothers keeper and if he's slippin then we have to set it right b/c no one else will.

Well, thats fine then. If you want to make it that public that you were involved to some degree in such a transaction, and to take the risk given the potential liabilities, that's fine.

I still say that simply identifying the person enough so that no one else will do business with them, and then asking for any "locals" who live near the scammer to make direct contact with you, will suit everyones purposes at least as well, and lower the risks you are taking.

I just hope your number never comes up on such things, and that you never have to deal with the potential legal problems this opens you up to.

Later.

When I first started reading the boards I was in total agreement to scammers receiving some kind of retribution for their actions. However Riker brings up an excellent point.
What happens if some juiced up 300lb bb with an anger management problem to begin with reads this post, takes matters into his own hands and smacks the piece of shit scammer one too many times?
Yeah we would all say he deserved it- that the fucker shouldn't have been thieving. Then we see the poor guy who accidentally killed him getting arrested and charged with manslaughter.
Next thing you know hes talking about EF and the bros who supplied the info, trying to explain that he was acting in the best interest of people who are in possession of controlled substances and are using the US mail illegally. Before long EF is getting shut down, entangled in both criminal and civil suits, and those who advocated the action of this guy are being questioned and arrested because they either supplied information or perhaps pushed the guy too far.
I agree scammers need to have their balls and tits chopped off however there isn't much we can do without risking what has been described by Riker. I don't think a scammer is worth EF and other boards like it getting shut down and Ashcroft introducing legislation to prohibit sites like this to operate:p
As Riker said, leave the high school tough guy attitude behind- it doesn't get you anywhere.
Good info HULKSTER- I'd hate to be a scammer in this day and age:D

Listen, all of these fears have been stated every single time that scammer info has been listed. And everytime, nothing has come of it. If the Mods thought there would be a prolbem, that would not have made this a sticky. And just like the DEA tried once before to obtain EF's customer databased----and failed due to the efforts of Spellwin and Rick Collins---they would lose again if they tried to get personal information on my username.
