Laser eye surgery

Has anyone had this done?

How was it the day of the surgery? The days after? Did you experience any side effects?

I'm getting it done today, so I'm wondering what to expect.

I love the results but, make sure you have some kick ass drugs to knock you out the first day. It really sucked.

after the first day, it's just a little discomfort. Like having a spec of sand in your eyes. Within a week, you won't even notice anymore. Good luck.

I got it when it was 5k for both eyes. It was the BEST 5k that I've spent in my life. Bar none.

Like S said, there's a little discomfort after the first week; but you're pretty free and clear after that.

The best is when you wake up...look at your clock...read the time...then realize that you CAN see the clock!

i have no problem with my glasses.

then again my eyes arent so bad that i cant find my way through the room without them. it would suck if you have to reach for your glasses on touch

I think Phakic iol lenses are only used when people aren't good candidates for lasix or RKD.

my dad had lasik done twice, his eyes reverted back after awhile the first time...

now hes got one eye that is good nearsighted and one that is good farsighted, but hes glad he had it done

odds are they dont have the latest equipment/ plus its probably an assembly line operation (get em in get em out)
you only have one pair of eyes, not something you want to mess with to save a few bucks

some people like having one farsighted and one nearsighted, no need for glasses really if you have it that way

bilateral means you have to do both eyes for that price to be in effect
where they get you is that the price gets jacked up the more myopic you are, they never sell the $490 price, its just something to get you in the door before they give you the real price
