Laptop Suggetions anyone?

yo guys Im gonna be starting freshman year in college so im gonna need a laptop. anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps any websites they know where I could get a good deal?

Im looking to spend max 800 bucks or so. Right now i have my eye on a Dell e1505, it looks about right. does anyone know any better options? thanks

I just got the HP pavilion dv2025nr, it is awesome. Costs about a grand though. Personally I'd stay away from dell we had them at work and they were constantly fucking crashing, plus a few of my friends have them and they hate them, customer service is horrible too. Buddy of mine spent 8hrs on the phone with them transferring him around until one person finally told him he bought the wrong dvd's for copying movies.

I'm partial to Mac, but for a PC I have had a couple HP's and vaio, the sony crashed hard and was never resurected (sp) crap, the HP's lasted longer and one probably would still be going, though at a snails pace, if I didnt huck it when I got my powerbook.

toshiba's are pretty inexpensive btw.
