Laminate Flooring.

It's great, I installed it in my Living Room and Family Room a few months ago. You can get the Uni-click kind that doesn't even require any glue, just click together and away you go. The only thing you would really need to do is some cutting. Cheap too, I paid about $1.50 a square foot (Canadian). You can get more expensive ones if you want. Looks pretty much just like hardwood. Look for something that has a good warranty (25 years) and buy one that is thicker. The really cheap ones are about 5mm thick (not sure what that is in 'American'
