Looks a bit like a cross between the Murcielago and the toughness of the Countach, with a hint of futurism.
Not bad at all, shame that they will keep it so exclusive. Smacks of elitism - the development price of the car couldn't possibly recuperated in such a limited production run. In other words all buyers of the lesser Lambos are subsidizing the cost of the supercars for a few.

so you're paying almost 3 times more for like 15 more hp out of the same engine and a face lift??? yeah 20 is very rare but i'd rather save 200k and buy a veyron roadster.

hahah maybe that's why corvette dropped to a 6.2L and through a supercharger on it. supposedly that one is gonna be in the 100k range even after mark up goes down. oh yeah they added a window in the hood to show off the cheap plastic engine cover so it's totally worth the 100+k!!!
Wow, news of the Reventon has been around for more than 2 years and you finally came across this?
All it is is a murcielago with a bodykit, and a few bells and whistles. a complete waste fo money, unless you are a collector and that is your thing.

So, you didn't say it wasn't an intercooler? but you did said it was a cheap platic engine cover? So, technically you did say it wasn't an intercooler, but a plastic cover.
The black and blue you can see is plastic, but the center part is the actual core of the intercooler. They added the window to show off the supercharger/intercooler, not a piece of plastic.
you could say the same about mid engine ferraris. they all have polycarbonate windows now to "show off their cheap plastic engine covers." Or, show off their cheap cast intake manifolds or whatever.

the entire cover is one peice. it was designed for cometic dress up purposes (like almost all new cars) to help accent the engine/window/new hood designs. the cover is bolted down to the intercooler to stay in place but underneath that cover is another cover sealing the intercooler from the top. the cover is no different than the stupid plastic cover they made for the 05-08 gt mustangs that cover the plastic runners. it's cosmetic and serves no real purpose other than to look pretty.

Meh. Even if I had a billion dollars I'd still buy at most a Lexus and a lifted Jeep Rubicon. I'd lift it myself though.

I'll take a veyron over that too.....doesn't look all that nice and "only" 650hp?? For 1.4 mil I want to be able to drag a veyron for gods sake. I'd take an ascari over any of these cars anyway.......

You know a funny thing is, I live in a area that was farm land about 6 years ago. All of a sudden boom! New homes everywhere... everyone of them 500,000 and up........ All the old town people are pissed but thats another story. The people buying these homes, they drive less expensive cars... Now I can understand why they don't have this car, but man..... you don't even see them in new Lexus.... nah man... its crazy.

I like it. I like the Lambos alot more than I do the Ferraris. I really like that color combo on it, however, I don't think it's worth the price tag. That blueish grey color on the Lamb that Bale hops into on Dark Knight is one of the best car colors I've ever seen.
The thing is, the 70k GTR will do away with this and the other "supercars" on the track. Make me a millionaire tommorow and the first thing I'm going after is a GTR. Make me a millionaire so many times over that I can just blow stupid amounts of money and I might grab a Gallerado just for the "it" factor.

well to tell the truth, i could buy just about any vehicle i want. i really wouldn't
entertain an italian car. if i was going to go all out, i'd buy a porsche GT3.
i've owned 6 porsches and i loved each and every one.
