Ladies, your opinion...

I'm in the gym yesterday doing some supplemental work with a machine and there's this semi-attractive MILF doing work on the mat on the floor with a medicine ball.

There's another fellow on a machine nearby and although I didn't notice, until after it started, he walked over to the woman and had a conversation to the effect of:

"Sorry I didn't mean to stare, you look alot like someone I used to go to school with, your name isn't Elise is it?"
Woman replied quite coldly "No. It isnt."
They guy then said something like "Well I'm sorry I hope I didn't creep you out, my mistake." and he went back to his excersise.
This woman sort of "snorts" obviously disgusted. A minute later she said something to her friend that was obviously derogatory of the guy, or negative over the situation but I couldn't catch all of what she said.

I think that this guy was serious and not just trying to pick her up cause he ignored her for the next 5 or 10 minutes then left the room.

But I was sitting there thinking "My God, what a fucking bitch." The guy was polite (other than apparently staring at her prior to the conversation - which I missed). Seemed to me that she was more pissed off that any one had the audacity to "talk" to her.

Is this fucked up or was she justified in this attitude? I'd love to hear your opinions ladies.

I'm married and have been out of this kind of scene for a long time. Is this what the "single" scene has turned into now? I mean what IF this guy was hitting on her (which I don't think he was really)? Shit seemed innocent enough to me and the guy was quite respectful.

What is this world coming to?

In that scenario, it seemed innocent enough (although gay) if he was serious or not, who knows. IMO no need to be bitchy about it.

Yea he did strike me as a bit "gay" lol!

He was wearing those old 70's shorts (I think addidas used to make them)

I would have definately pegged him as a turd-tamper...

let's just call a bitch a bitch and be done with it. lock this before a retarded (dissenting) opinion shows up.

My first impression is also that she was unneccesarily rude. However it's possible she's just had a cluster of horny dudes scamming her (happens in gyms a LOT) and maybe she was just in a bad mood that day, which happens to everyone...men and women alike.

Ok so this attitude is not the norm is what you're saying?

If I'm ever single again, I really wouldn't have the stamina for that kind of bullshit myself. Personally, if the guy WAS trying to pick her up, seemed like a good approach to me anyway (even though I'm convinced he's gay...lol).

No.

I'm suggesting only that maybe she's not a bitch. there could be other explanations for her behavior. Obviously for all I know she may be a horrendous bitch, or maybe he just picked the wrong time.
