Too many times a 'nice guy' will be afraid of saying the wrong thing, or of offending a girl, or even talking to them.

What I've learned is it's not necessary to try and 'play' nice guy or 'play' asshole. Just be strong, be secure in your expectations and stay in control of your more primal aspects, and you will be fine. Truly the women who are only happy with the extreme assholes are of a lower variety and not worthy of wasting time on.

It isn't necessary to treat a girl poorly... you just have to make sure you don't dote on them or cave to what they want to do. Be strong and secure in yourself and what you want... and if they ever do anything that shows a lack of respect you tell thim in no uncertain terms that if that ever happens again they're gone. It really comes down to respect and control.

The person who cares least (or appears to care least) is in control. When you like someone that you think doesn't like you back you like them much more. I've noticed that i may not like a girl when she likes me, but if i feel that she may not like me i'm all about her. Women are this exact same way and therefore the best way to be in a good position in a relationship is to appear to not need them.

All this needs to have a disclaimer that this is for late teenage/early twenty something girls... as they get older, well, hopefully these games don't continue forever.

Not all women like assholes, but many would rather be in a bad relationship than in no relationship. Some women have such low self esteem that they naturally gravitate towards assholes because the poor treatment they get reinforces their negative opinion of themselves.

the biggest place that ive seen that manifest itself is in the Greek system. anybody who was in a fraternity will know this about a huge chunk (although im not saying its absolute) of the females who are greek,

the ass-jerk-player-probably has chlaymidia more often than not-been around for 6 years-can play the guitar kind of-boisterous-outgoing-over confident-dominant-territorial-womanizing member of the fraternity usually ends up with a good looking (naive/young/homesick) female greek.

Its about control. Women always say they want a nice guy blah blah blah but women arent supposed to be logical. So what they SAY is never what they mean. They go based on what they FEEL. So anything that women have responded with more or less on this thread is completely invalid or untrue. The EXCEPTION being that typically when women want to settle down and get married they'll opt for that "nice guy".

The subconcious of a woman wants an alpha male. Theres a difference between being an "asshole" and being assertive and not taking any shit. Theres no attractiveness in being a spineless pussy.

Its just simpler in society to label things into black and white and say one guys an "asshole" and the other is a "nice guy".

Women want a man who can dominate them and tell them what to do, very simply even though they'll never admit. Its not that complicated but people have to come ot the realization that women, logically, dont make sense. That whole being swept off their feet fantasy has been implanted in their subconcious since they were little girls, and thats not something that can be done by someone who's uncertain of himself, predictable, and not a challenge.

You are totally correct, the tamable guys are the ones with low testosterone. Women try to trap one of these guys and then screw around, get pregnant with the untamable guys offspring and then have the tame sucker raise the other guys kid. Be warned guys, dont fall for the trap.
