thanks for the replies. It looks like iuds are best choice if it has to be taken. What are the sides?

light cramping at first for me and that was about it. Since it's a device and not hormones, there are hardly anysides except for lack of stress about getting pregnant. They will only permit you to have one usually, if you are done having kids.

I can almost guarantee you though your wife is like me (read my desperate threads, lol) and it's not her birth control affecting her drive.

Up date me when you can. I'm interested in this stuff. This is my life, lol!

Curvymommy - tell me more about this IUD. You said "they only permit you to have one." I have been researching this and considering switching from the pill due to the sides with VAR. I have been very fortunate on the pill and it is hard for me to switch when I know the pill works GREAT for me but the hormones are crazy when I am on VAR and immediately following going off. IUD seems the perfect choice but if I ever chose to get pregnant I would want the option to have another IUD after. Tell me more curvy!
