Haven't been on this site in ages! Don't think I know anyone here these days. Sassy69 are you still over here girl? Thought I would poke around a chit chat for a while here.

I was doing a financial analysis through quicken to see where I was spending my money and wanted to see what everyone elses guilty pleasures were. Where oh where does the money go?

So what are your favorites shops? My addiction seems to be home goods!! I can spend a ridiculous amount of money of home accents. Stupid fake plants that always seem to die in a month or so, couches, chairs, candles. Crate and Barrel, Restoration Harware,...Ah ! Oh an if it's online it's even worse! My most recent splurge of $260 at www.ny-stoneworks.com sickened me, especially after my big new years savings plan! Oh well - Loveeeeeee their pieces and those yummy soy candles! I feel at peace with my purchase while smelling my crushed ginger scented soy

I can also do a number a shoe store - ohhhh or at chef store! Pots, pans, knives . They can do me in too!

I USED to love to shop/get inspiration from the following places:

Bath and Body Works
Gymboree (for kids clothes)
Gap (for all of us)
Potterybarn
Costco (by far, the worst)
eBay
fun and funky vintage items for home from off the beaten path places, sometimes even high end garage sales and craigslist.com

So, you see, nothing fancy! I spent a wayyy too much last year and almost got myself into trouble so for 2008 I have imposed a mortorium on spending.

OH YES!!! This is something I get really excited about. Freakin MAC as well as Sephora. I love it that they send you all that free perfume when you purchase stuff from sephora's site. Yummy!

curvymomma, I go to a lot of charity benefits and political fundraisers throughout the year...sometimes as many as three a month. The attire ranges from cocktail to black tie. That dress obviously won't get worn till spring...but what a spring dress it will be! I'm thinking of saving it for when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Lots going on those two weeks.
