lactose intolerant, protein factory

slotline

New member
I am lactose intolerant so I have been using Isopure. The problem is that it is kind of expensive. I heard Protein Factory has good supplements, is it the soy protein I would want to get. Also I want to get the dextrose to add in my post workout drink, am I just supposed to order the plain dextrose. Just need some basic info on ordering the right stuff.

A protein that is not derived from milk is good in your case, but from your post, it seemed like you did not have any problems with Isopure? If this is the case, then you might want to check your Isopure label to find out which type of milk-based protein (e. g Cross-flow Microfiltration Whey Protein Isolate, etc.) is in it, and buy that protein from proteinfactory, which might be cheaper.

I would not buy Dextrose from proteinfactory if it is any more than 1.25 per pound. Dextrose is cheap at supplementdirect.com and at breweries (I've heard).

Dextrose does not taste bad, so you can just order it plain. If you do order it from protein factory, you can chose whether or not to have it blended in with your protein order. Because protein factory customizes many orders, which I would imagine means that a different blend goes into the blender almost every time, you might also want to find out how clean the blenders are at proteinfactory since there could be lactose on it from other proteins blended just before yours. If this is the case, I would imagine that it is very small amounts.
