Lab Results w/ Super low test levels help!

Been on this board for many years and now I need some help... Stats... I'm 43yo 6'2 235 daily gym rat most would say I'm a big guy... Haven't been on anything in over 3 years. Got my blood results back to my shock!

testosterone 85 (yes not a typo)
free test is 24.9
LH is 1.9
FSH is 2.1

SO seems like I'm just not producing much testosterone. I went to get tested because I knew I just wasn't feeling right... Low sex drive, etc... Anyway, testosterone supplement would be the easy answer, but my wife and I are trying to get preg (afraid it will create infertility), so the doc suggested HCG and Clomid to try and see if I can kick start my own system...

He says 50mg clomid for 30 days and 4,000 iu of HCG 3 days a week.

I wanted to add Forma-stanozolol and needto's unleashed and post cycle stack...

Would love some feedback from those in the know, as I have some important decisions to make!
Peace!

try hcgenerate and psytoserms if all fails it's time for HRT

I would definitely suggest using clomid but start at a low dose and be prepared to work with your doctor to see where your sweet spot is (i.e., getting labs every 4 weeks). I'd also suggest doing the PCT for an extended amount of time, like 4-6 months and tapering off slowly.

For example, start at 12.5mg per day for 4 weeks, get blood drawn, check LH/FSH and Testosterone. If you are pleased with the numbers then stay with this dose and continue testing. If you are not pleased with the lab results, increase to 25mg and test again after 4 weeks.

Here is an example, I was on TRT for about 2 years and my LH/FSH were basically undetectable.
4 weeks of 12.5mg of clomid brought my LH to the middle of the range and my testosterone to a little below the middle of the range.
-- increased dosage--
4 weeks of 25mg of clomid brought my LH to the top of the range and my testosterone to the top of the range. So no need to go further than this.

No need to take more of the drug than necessary. This will help you avoid sides.

Also, I don't think you should take HCG for a restart when you're on a SERM like clomid. You're just doing yourself a disservice by propping up testosterone that way when trying to recover - it is counterproductive. Let the clomid trigger the necessary hormone release (LH) from your pituitary to raise your testosterone levels.

Wow sounds like some guys aren't reading you are trying to get pregnant. TRT would just kill your chances at a kid. Would you please keep me posted about your success using the hcg if you choose and clomid to restart your system. We have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years and there is nothing wrong with us. It flippin laim.

From what I have learned I agree with tical that taking HCG tricks your body into produces LH therefore not sure why your doc would put you on it. Do the clomid.

Good luck!!!!

Have you guys had any tests done to check your LH/FSH levels? For you, FSH would be responsible the production of sperm, which is then added to the fluid produced by your prostate gland and seminal vesicles - making semen.

For her, the FSH would be responsible for the production of eggs in her ovaries.

If you're low in FSH it could be contributing to a low sperm count making it harder to conceive. If her FSH is low, her ovaries might not be releasing eggs every month. Women with low FSH sometimes only release eggs a few times per year.

LH would cause her estrogen to increase, promoting a better environment (in the uterus) to support an embryo. If her LH is too low, and you guys do happen to get pregnant, her uterine lining will fall out and she will miscarry. This might even appear like a regular period, when in fact, you two did conceive.

I think you guys can get LH/FSH tested for not that much money online. Worth taking a look at if you're trying to get pregnant. It might also be worth it to get an ultrasound on her ovaries to check the follicle count.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the advice... I will keep it posted on here as to my progress... I have been on HCGenerate for about 4 weeks when I felt that something wasn't right...I will probably continue that moving forward... Also, my GH levels were a little below the middle, not necessarily low, but the doc said it wouldnt hurt to throw in 2-3 iu of gh which of course I will. Also, my vitamin D levels were really low so I am supplementing for that also.

The doc does specialize in HRT, but I feel like the knowledge on these boards is more on the cutting edge than a doc so I wanted to share.

SO start with less clomid... not the 50mg a day he suggests?

Tical gave you great info. Don't think anyone else but Needto read your original post. 4000iu of HCG is a bit high, especially with Clomid on top. Again, agreeing with Tical, I will still give you a second option to consider: HMG 75 iu, along with 25mg Aromasin, twice per week say Monday and Thursday, for 4 weeks. Recheck.
