Klonopin and AAS

just plain wrong?!
i would watch what you are saying...i know a lot about benzodiazepines.
IF your intesity goes down your strenght in my book isnt as strong then.
Did you ever use ativan? ativan is one of the least sadative of benzos (oh and all benzos are sadatives not just ativan)...klonapin can make you feel drunkish when taking enough.
i used to be addicted to benzos for 5 years i took handfulls of whatever i could get...so correct me if im wrong but i have a lot more expirence than you

oh and on this note...he was talking about a sleeping problem, i thought that it might help to be on a OTC rather than something that has sides...i would recommend anyone to use benzos as a last resort because of the addictive nature of the increasing GABA receptors (alcoholism)

No offense, but everything you said is just plain wrong. Klonopin will not "definitely make you weaker." That's just nonsense. It might, at the very worst, slightly reduce the intensity of one's workout, but that's about the worst that can be said. This lacking in intensity can be avoided completely by timing one's injestion of the drug. I take my first dose early morning. I work out late afternoon, and by that time, most of K's effects have begun to wear off. Ativan, BTW, is a sedative, and will make you much more drousy than K. And for someone who suffers a physiologically induced anxiety disorder, there are no OTC drugs that work anywhere nearly as well as benzos.

LOL, he's right. I definitely getting stronger every week. If that guy isn't it is because he's OD'ing on klonapin :p

yeah i did take high amounts that would probably knock out an elephant, but the fact is that it is a CNS depressant and it therefore would effect your intensity a little...thats the whole point i was trying to get at.
i just dont want anyone to go through what i went through so i was trying to be nice and offer alternitives

Thanks for the feedback. I believe most of you have a valid point. From experience you can't prior to working out, it does make you sluggish, which by nature it should for which it's prescribed.

I take at night and by morning I don't feel anymore of the affects. If I toook too much and took through-out the day, then yes, my intensity would drop during workouts. It's be similar to trying to workout on Valium.

My main concern was would taking it at night slow down gains and/or inhibit fat loss. From those that have used it and said it did not then I believe it will not. I take 1mg at night, sometimes 2mgs. And occasionally .5mgs during the day on on-training days. My workouts haven't suffered, but when taking it it makes you "feel like" your metabolism is slower. That's why I was concerned with the fat loss issue.

sorry but i must agree with this. benzo's are life savers for many people and every big guy i know takes them. ask your doctor. benzo's make you lethargic but in no way weaker. just don't workout while on

like i said before also the intensity thing is complete bullshit as well. i played lacrosse and tennis both on klons because it kept my concentration and my temper down. klonopin is the most mild benzo mg for mg. valium and xanax are the strongest and fast acting, while klonopin stays in the blood for a while keeping a steady mood. infact on most doses of klonopin you do not even feel the high. ativan on the other hand is the most fast acting and potent benzo. thats why before surgery they put it in your iv. being an addict doesn't make you an expert. sorry. i live near the border and used to buy vals buy the box and down em in a week. that doesn't mean i know about them. by researching with my doc and trying them all we found the one that is most mild klonopin. ativan is hard shit. thats why they are tiny little bbs cause they are potent.

it will definitely make you weaker...i would go off it and try some valerian root at night with some GABA or even some kava kava, melatonin, 5htp....there are alot of supplements out there that work just as well without the sides
but if you want to stay on a benzo try switching to ativan its just as strong but it will make your intensity become around normal again.

No it won't. It might some people, but it sure didn't make me weaker.
