There is a story circulating about a bust outside of boston which makes reference to a bigger bust that occured in Alabama. After many hours of research, this is what I turned up:
5-3-02 Russellville police seize drugs, cash in international case

RUSSELLVILLE—A call from a concerned citizen at a local business recently brought the Russellville Police Department into the middle of an international drug investigation that has been ongoing for the past year-and-a-half.
According to Assistant Chief Robert Pace, on the afternoon of April 18, the department received a call about suspicious packages that were to be shipped overnight from the local business. The packages were to be sent to other regions of the United States as well as Great Britain.
After an investigation involving the Russellville drug unit, which included the department’s canine division, the decision was made to confiscate the packages in question.
As it turned out, the packages contained more than $19,000 in cash, as well as nearly $100,000 in drugs. A grand total of 1,860 vials of sustanon, an anabolic steroid, and 3,000 tablets of what is believed to be either oral steroids or GHB (the date rape drug) were seized by the city’s police department.
Also seized was a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am valued at $25,000. The Trans Am was the vehicled used by the suspect in the delivery of the packages to the Russellville business. The name of the suspect has not been released.
Shortly after confiscating the above mentioned items, Russellville drug officers were contacted by United States Customs agents about what they had seized.
Russellville officers were told that Customs had been investigating the suspect for about 18 months, and that the confiscation of the money, drugs, and car by Russellville officers had broken the case open. After being told of the lengthy investigation, Russellville officers began to work closely with Customs and the DEA on what is said to be an investigation involving 46 states and three countries pertaining to the smuggling of anabolic steroids.
All of the items confiscated by the Russellville Police Department, including the car and the cash, are currently in the custody of the department, and will likely become the department’s property.
For now, the investigation continues and warrants are being served throughout this country and Great Britain.
“We are looking forward to other possible seizures stemming from this case,” Pace said.

$50,000 steroid seizure reported in Braintree: Police say drug distribution could have been nationwide
Police have seized an estimated $50,000 worth of steroids from a Braintree man who was allegedly receiving shipments of the drug from overseas and possibly selling them nationwide, an officer said.
Joseph E. Walorz, 28, of 65 Edgemont Road, pleaded innocent in Quincy District Court to possession of a Class E substance, possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute and possession of hypodermic syringes.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Braintree police Detective Sgt. Kevin Ware said Walorz had 5,000 to 6,000 steroid pills, hundreds of glass vials of the drug, boxes of syringes and packaging tools in his home.
‘‘It's a great arrest,'' Ware said. ‘‘It's a sizable steroid seizure with national overtones.''
Although steroids can be prescribed for legitimate medical reasons, they are sold illegally to bodybuilders, weightlifters and another athletes to enhance performance and build bulk.
Working with an inspector from the U.S. Postal Service, Braintree police obtained a search warrant and intercepted a package sent to Walorz when he went to pick it up last Thursday at Braintree Parcel Express in Braintree Square, Ware said.
The package, which was sent from Thailand, contained 100 small boxes, each with three ampules of Sustanon, an injectable testosterone product, Ware said.
Walorz was arrested and a second warrant was used to search his house.
Officers found on his bed boxes containing hundreds of ampules of Sustanon, several boxes of steroids, empty vials, packaging tools, and thousands of blue and white pills, possibly Winstrol, a drug given to thoroughbred horses, according to the police report.
In the closet were two boxes containing hundreds of syringes and shelves loaded with packaging and mailing materials, including 500 manilla envelopes ‘‘consistent with a mail distribution operation,'' the report said.
An anabolic steroid reference manual was found on a chair in a bedroom, the report states.
Next to the bedroom was a small workout room containing free weights and a bench, with mirrors on the wall, police said. A notebook on top of a radio listed an extensive daily workout schedule and body measurements.
Police said they were familiar with Walorz, having noticed a gain in his muscularity in recent years.
Police also seized Walorz's computer.
Walorz could not be reached by telephone last night.
Braintree police officers were tipped off by U.S. Postal Inspection Services, Ware said.
In April, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Customs and Postal Inspection Services busted an alleged steroid distribution and money drop operation in Alabama. Walorz's Edgemont Road address was discovered as part of the investigation, Ware said, and the Postal Service put a mail watch on the address and notified Braintree police.
Ware said Walorz would routinely have lunch in Sharon's, a Braintree Square restaurant, often while Braintree Police Chief Paul Frazier and Deputy Chief Jay Sullivan were eating there. Afterwards, he would cross the street and pick up packages from Braintree Parcel Express, Ware said.
Ware said it appears Walorz was distributing the drugs by mail.
‘‘We have evidence to believe he was shipping this evidence out to addresses all over the United States,'' Ware said.
The police report said Walorz was wiring thousands of dollars out of the country. Ware said it is unclear how long the alleged distribution ring was in operation.
‘‘The investigation is ongoing,'' he said. ‘‘We are continuing to work with the United States Postal Inspection Office and the U.S. District Attorney's Office.''

I can't stop laughing.
