okay well I decided to start playing basketball again and coach at my college gave me a chance after i had someone put in some good words for me.

anyways on wednsday(right now tis monday night) I am going to a practice to give it my best shot and not dissapoint anyone.

the reality is that im out of shape and set out whole last year etc etc, but I think im in good enaugh shape now to compete at the level this people are playing, considering they too havent done much during summer cause its a community college and sports arent as organized as big name schools.

also its not a joke cause its one of the top bball schools in wa or thats what they say and I did see the guys and they didnt look bad so I will have to work my ass off and not only that to get on the team.

so to the point here, again I need your advice for what I should do here for tommorow and what should I eat so that when I go there at 2pm I will have more then enaugh energy and not get cramps or something weak like that.

I did some plyos today and Im pretty damn tired, plus sore from yesterdays work out, so Im thinking about not doing shiat tommorow except maybe do a little shooting.

so hope you guys can help me out, its just the first day that matters for now cause on the rest of them I can get myself back where I need to be, so if someone can tell me some good food to eat for tommorow and wednsday before 2pm that would be great.

I would eat some solid complex carbs. Brown rice, pasta and some form of meat/fish for protein.

Lots and lots of fluids. You also may want to add a little more salt than usual to your food.

yea thanks for the input, its just this one day really important and I just looked at ur website some good shit, but I just need some good advice on recovery cause today I played some old man and I was tired, which is not good. anyways im thinking about just stretching as much as i can and just relaxin tommoorw.
 
I would jog lightly in the morning for 10-15 minute - just enough to sweat.

Drain your legs on a wall. Meaning, sit facing a wall and put your legs up against the wall. Move yourself up against the wall until your ass touches the wall and your feet are straight up. Stay there for 10-15 minutes or as long as you can take your legs being knumb.

Stretch your hamstrings after.

Later on that day you should be fine. I did this regularly when I played. Hope it helps and thanx for checking the site. If you need a routine I can help you. PM or EMAIL ME.
 
yea baby made the team.

16 people so far and only 3 white boys and one of them is me totally outa shape, but thank god this 2 weeks before i went today i was busting my ass off thanks to this board, it really helped. anyways now its time to bust my ass even more to get in shape and climb up the ledder so i can be closer to a starting spot(it is very possible)

oh well this board is becoming my motivation, so sorry for all the posts but it helps me stay on track.

anyways my damn toe is bleeding so im out.


p.s. oh and hammer I'll shoot u a pm about some drills for jumping etc with my scheduale so I hope you can help me out with that cuase i will really need it.
