I never did deads so every week is a PR but I started using them in the beginning of June for 5*5. I started with 225 and the first couple weeks I went up 20 or 30lbs as i was trying to get to the right work out weight. Yesterday I completed 5*5 with 335 and no straps......AND fromgrip strength increasings from dead I was able to do ALL of my other back routines without straps for the first time ever.
 
I add 10 lbs every week so 2 weeks ago I used 315 then last week 325 then this week 335. I have been able to do 5 * 5 everytime so far. this week was by far the hardest as I slowed way down on the last 2 reps of the last set. 345 next week will be my first real challneg I think. Man am I sore right now. my traps and upper back hurt when i type. I LOVE IT!
 
i would only increase by 5 lbs this way when u do get to 345 i would think it would be a lot easier to get your reps..dont be in arusdh to get to your plateau levels!! good luck

Thanks man..when i told my old partner he couldn't believe it. My grip strength has always sucked and I do not do enough work on it but deads have helped alot.
