i was reading a post a few minutes ago and the was saying that he was cutting and eating fruit. are you not supposed to eat fruit when cutting or trying to loose a significant amount of weight? currently trying to loose 30 to 40 natural working on my diet right now ( with cardio and excercise) then kick it into full gear when the summer starts
Most fruits contain too much sugar, and WILL impede fat-loss.
While cutting, it is important to keep blood sugar levels LOW, to avoid adipose storage.
Therefore, we must ONLY consume LOW-GLYCEMIC carbs, that do NOT have a profound effect on blood sugar, and rather, provide a steady supply of energy.
On a side-note, when cutting, the BIGGEST mistake people make is REDUCING CARBOHYDRATES!
Reducing TOTAL calorie intake is more important than reducing CARBS! This is why guys lose MUSCLE!
You should be eating at least 25-50 grams of carbohydrates in EVERY meal, with the exception of your one or two non-carb meals, later into your cutting phase.
Having said that, ALL of your carbs MUST be low-glycemic! NO EXCEPTIONS!
