If they have nan roasts on the table they'd be fat as fuck and having seconds all the time!
Freud is mostly full of shit... except with children being Perverse Polymorphs, I kinda have his back on that one...At least he cares enough to read parenting and child development books. I think it is cute.At the same time, usually every mom or dad does what they think is best and we are going to make mistakes. I'm sure she has considered her son's eating habits and is doing what she thinks is best. I'm pretty sure I just ruined my daughter by being too hard on her while potty training, but I got that great idea by reading too many books combined with an impatient and sometimes overly harsh parenting style and strict personality.
I don't know when I'll be done feeling guilty about that; I really hope Freud is full of shit (ha) It sucks we can't be perfect; we just don't need someone telling us about all the mistakes we are making all the time because we'll make them,and sometimes being too critical can make us feel like we are bad moms or bad dads...whatever. Be careful with being too critical, otherwise I think it's great that you care.
