Kidney stones during cycle

Wingnut32

New member
I was in the middle of a cycle: wk 1-8 750 enath wk
wk 1-15 500 eq wk
wk 9-15 75 tren ed
wk 9-16 prop 100 ed

Around week 10 I started to develope kidney stones. I passed 4 of them with little problem. I went and had blood work done and kidney function was normal. I've never had them before. Has anyone gotten them from A.S.? Could this be from the high protien intake?

Peace

The kidney stones are due to old age. Protein intake itself is not sufficient to cause kidney stones, there are other factors involved.

I can't argue with your current cycle, though I think you'd be better served by taking Halotestin instead of Tren......

Heres an article I think you might find interesting. Again, antibiotics are the cure!

It now appears that infections are a major cause of kidney stones. In 1996, researchers from Turkey (1) and Finland (2) reported that newly discovered bacteria called nanobacteria, cause kidney stones. This month, researchers in Formosa report finding a common intestinal bacteria called proteus and another often sexually transmitted bacteria called ureaplasma in kidney stones (3).

Doctors used to tell their patients with kidney stones to reduce their intake of calcium, but recent research shows that restricting calcium causes stone formers to increase their chances of getting kidny stones (4,5) and osteoporosis (6). Doctors failed to find infections in kidney stones before because nanobacteria are so small that they cannot be seen by conventional microscopes, but can be seen through the super powerful electron microscope, they do not stain with conventional bacterial stains and they do not grow in conventional laboratory agar and grow very slowly on special media. Nanobacteria cause calcium, phosphorus and other minerals to form carbonate apatite as a shell around them, that is a major component of kidney stones. Antibodies that bind to nanobacteria have been found in all 30 stones tested. Tetracycline antibiotics accumulate in the calcium shell, and have been shown to kill nanobacteria. There are no studies to test whether daily intake of doxycycline prevents kidney stones, but these tests should be started soon. I treat my patients with kidney stones with doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for many months. However, treatment of kidney stones with antibiotics is controversial and not accepted by most doctors; discuss this with your doctor.

I guess there could be an underlying enlarged prostate that is blocking the urinary tract but it is more likely that this isnt age related at all.

Agree 2 Disagree.

Kidney Stones are usually associated with advanced age.

OOH maaan! that is totally fucked up bro, I had the same thing in the middle of a cycle last year I pased 1 stone with pinkish color in my urine then I went to the doctor and said that I had kidney stones. so he said to get it operated or the disintigrate the stone by ultrasonic sound which I did but I was urinating blood for about a week until I flushed all the sand because it turned out to sand. I took antibiotics and I was still working out but is not the same I was real mad at the gym IT FUCKING SUUCCKKKSSS!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T WISH THIS TO ANYBODY!

High protein diet....not enough water!!!!! To much calcium....Not enough water....Shitty kidney...Not enough water!!!! Hey passing a stone is better than passing a kidney!!!

hammertime is closer to the truth than anyone in the thread so far...although kidney stones do tend to happen later in life due to deteriorating kidney function (since kidney function is certainly a factor)

at the end of the day, for a definitive answer you should go and get blood tests to determine not only kidney function, but levels of pertinient electrolytes. protein will contribute a little certainly, but mainly it comes down to hydration and intake of certain minerals in quantity

dont use proscar
prostate has nothing to do with it
the infection article was interesting
get it taken care of right away, permanent damage happens to kidneys in this situation

cheers :)

what was your cycle?

not enough water and dirty water (from the pipe)

have had well over 100 stones. 3 surgeries to break them up. first stone at age 24 so the age thing is out the door. causes? for m lack of water i am sure. passed and i swear on my moms grave two at the same time yesterday. my doc thinks maybe they broke in half as i was having issues passing them but these two hurt like hell and they aint small. first one prior to any cycles.

soda for sure is bad and now i learn gatorade as well because of sodium

for this issue. because proscar isnt needed. apart from that, proscar is a good drug.

ahh, good. I thought you were saying thats proscar had a deleterious effect on the kidney and I was about to ask you to back that up... :artist:
