Kid searching for "boobs" on his tablet

My pops just gave me a box of condoms and said always use these

Safe sex practices, and the moral viewpoints of fornication are not the same thing as having kids being exposed to pornography. Not even close.

Who here is a parent?

Of the parents, who would allow their young children to look at pornography and be perfectly fine with it?

If you say "I would" then you're a horrible parent and you can fuck off.

What childhood teachings were those that cause multiple cultures and groups of people to view women as objects?

Eh, there are a lot of factors that come into play when you're talking about large scale society norms. If you refer to countries like the middle east then it's highly related to lack of education, religious views and teachings. Much like America was a few hundred years ago, arguably less, they teach boys at ago young age that life depends on them ago nd they must carry the weight while women are near useless things that only serve few purposes. But as education rises and they attain a more ideal view of what a human being is that starts to change. Like most modern countries have shown.

But like I said, there are many other factors that come into play when talking about brain development. It still exist a lot today, you have extreme cases where mothers can't handle things and leave the father and children. The father constantly talks shit about the mother not knowing he is also telling the kids half of them is a piece of shit. A lot of mental dissociation takes place, they can't find happiness in themselves and their brain defaults to hate women as well. You have so called "redneck" cultures that constantly talk down about women and view their place in society as lesser than a mans, resulting in children growing up to hate/view women as lesser individuals.

Lol all sorts of interesting stuff when you dive deep into the subject. But I can assure you it's never ever as simple as "just make sure they never see porn because it's evil". People always want very simple solutions to complex problems and that's never going to happen.

What do you guys remember thinking about sex as small kids? Did you associate it with something wrong/fear?

Growing up, my parents were pretty open about it. They would answer my questions and if there was some naked women on TV or something they wouldn't make me look away. I would just be kind of embarrassed naturally I guess. Once I became of age to notice things, they would give me a hard time but not in a bad way. And my dad always taught me to respect women, and "no means no", that sort of thing. But he never made me feel like anything sexual was bad.

However, my grandmother made almost everything sexual and bad, especially when it came to the girls (her daughters). If the girls talked to a boy it was bad, if they laughed at a boy's joke she thought it was flirting. Well, once those girls became of age, and found some freedom, they all wound up pregnant at a young age.

Everyone has a different experience I teach my kid respect for everyone. And when he comes of age and decides to have girlfriends we will have a serious discussion about respect and such.

that was in response to the poster cindylou above me that asked what we remembered from childhood.

Child porn is obviously sick as anyone here would agree.

A child being exposed to it is not acceptable either.

Miplank, what if you caught your kids looking at porn? You sure as hell would not just ignore it and let them do it and think there's nothing wrong with it. No fucking way in hell would a sane parent do that.

The curiosity of it is completely normal, no doubt.

As SD said, pornography addiction is a huge problem. Pornography is related to the ever increasing divorce rates, addiction (it becomes psychophysical, not just mental, the body becomes addicted to orgasm through visual stimulation of pornography while being competent removed emotionally from the subject), it alters the chemical reactions in the brain and perception of proper sexuality and decency of the subject, and is what leads to many become exposed to child pornography and becoming abusers themselves because they become visually stimulated by children committing sex acts which many in turn end up acting out this stuff on kids. Had they not been exposed to child pornography, they never would have had a problem. This is all documented scientific research as well.

Don't tell me there's nothing wrong with it. Especially for little children, holy shit.

You are simplifying things way too much. Stop approaching problems with such uneducated, bias and narrow views.
