Keepings Gains

I'm starting my first cycle shortly and I don't want to be one of those guys that put on 20 pounds and then have it slowly dissappear after being off cycle for a month. My question is for those of you that have had sucess keeping and maintaining gains while off cycle. Besides proper PCT, what do you think is the single most important factor to be considered? Food intake, different training techniques, rest, other supplementation??

Diet, diet, and diet. And you wont be one of those guys unless ou just juice for spring break and/or summer, eat garbage, get drunk every night, and most important, train only chest/arms/abs.

Sorry for the rant, it's not personal. It just humors me after years in the gym how the crowds always pick up when the weather gets nice and the days that I actually DO have to train chest and/or arms become impossible becaue the same 180 lb losers in size Medium wife beaters are all hanging around the benches screaming and yelling after getting 275 up a few times with god awful form.

But in all honesty, PCT is literally just as important (if not moreso than) the cycle. You also need a proper PCT and must restore natural test production. If you're committed to it you'll pick up all the info you need along the way and always remember, there is no substitute for hard work and dedication.

But don't take it from me. Ask others who have had success. Personally I trained naturally to 225 lbs and now compete in the hi 220's @ 4-5% bf with an off season weight near 280.

okay thanks alot, I know what you mean about the gym...I'm taking a semester off from school to get some work expereince so the boozing will be down alot. Every year though the beginning of the semester and the month before spring breaks the gym is mobbed. Every is doing their bicep curls and the little guys are happy to bench press 145 pounds. Since this is my 1st cycle I plan to take the advice from this board and get bloodwork done...to see that my body isnt rotting from the insdie out but to also make sure I get my test levels are back up to normal. I'm putting alot of effort into my PCT because I don't want to piss away a few hundred bucks to putt on the weight and then lose it right away. How do you alter your training once you start PCT?? Is it a challenge to cut down on the intensity and not overtrain since you no longer have all the sauce ruining through you?

Single most important thing in my opinion is know your own body. As long as I do PCT and eat a large amount of protien, lift heavy I seem to keep about 90%. I dont know if I am lucky or what. I dont put on 20lbs though. More like a solid 10. Witch is still fantastic for 12 weeks.

Never, Never, Never

under any Circumstance,

should a normal person go off gear.

In my last will and testament it clearly states,

Fina/Test/Dbol go in the casket before I do.

lol SS.

Seriously tho man, Diet and protein intake and continue'd training. The guys that come off and stop eatting, and lower their protein intake slowly start burning off all the muscle they gained.

Proper PCT
Diet
Training
