which is a given, anyhow my water intake is just ridiculous these days 12 bottles a day or so

how many of you use purifiers/filters - do you like em?

I use a Pure water filter on the sink in the island. It's just for filling water jugs. I like them and I think it comes out much better than buying bottles of water.

thats what i wanted to hear :)

are they a pain to maintain or is it just replacing filters every so often

I use a PUR filter on the tap, so far its been 6 months and haven't had to replace a single filter. Only downside is waiting longer for your water.

Sooo much cheaper than bottled water, install was a breeze right out of the box. Best $25 I've spent on plumbing =)

I live in Colorado, we don't need filters here, tap water is very clean.
When I'm out and about I always take a few bottles of Dasani and sip all day.

you just dont like the idea of drinking tap water?

Does keeping hydrated help with gains or is it necessary to avoid entering dehydration mode and feeling like you are gonna pass out?

I use a filter jug in the fridge and fill my work cooler in the morning and make sure its finished by the time i come home .

love the taste of puron

Normally I would drink tapwater, but where I live now.....I know the people who treat my water. The fact that these people are responsible for 50 to 60 million gallons a day of purified water really scares me. There are probably 3 out of 12 people that I would trust with my water, but since it takes so long to correct mistakes....I'll choose Dasani. I have a store to reserve cases of Dasani 1 Liters for me weekly because I drink 1-2 gallons a day.

I've given thought to going back to the water company and pushing to be the next president with the board. I still think about it daily. It is sad when a company has a larger back door than a front door and loses water plant operators faster than they can bring in to replace them...but the reason for that is a bully mentality by way of supervisors.

Ideally, good tap water would have a good ratio of ammonia and chlorine such as mononchloramines for taste while still disinfecting the water. Everyone else wants to switch to Bleach at a 12% solution to be safe for the workers since the Chlorine gas can liquify a person from the inside out in a couple of minutes. Bleach water still tastes ike shit though and doesn't make the water any more pure than chlorine gas and ammonia which is just as clean and tastes like spring water...or Dasani.

I think something came out on the news not long ago about Aquafina being NY tap water. So? Dasani is Detroit tap water. It is all filtered and purifed.

I dont mind drinking tap water. I fill up gallon jugs and bring them with me. I drink about 3 gallons of water everyday and i am not exaggerate one bit.
