Normally I would drink tapwater, but where I live now.....I know the people who treat my water. The fact that these people are responsible for 50 to 60 million gallons a day of purified water really scares me. There are probably 3 out of 12 people that I would trust with my water, but since it takes so long to correct mistakes....I'll choose Dasani. I have a store to reserve cases of Dasani 1 Liters for me weekly because I drink 1-2 gallons a day.
I've given thought to going back to the water company and pushing to be the next president with the board. I still think about it daily. It is sad when a company has a larger back door than a front door and loses water plant operators faster than they can bring in to replace them...but the reason for that is a bully mentality by way of supervisors.
Ideally, good tap water would have a good ratio of ammonia and chlorine such as mononchloramines for taste while still disinfecting the water. Everyone else wants to switch to Bleach at a 12% solution to be safe for the workers since the Chlorine gas can liquify a person from the inside out in a couple of minutes. Bleach water still tastes ike shit though and doesn't make the water any more pure than chlorine gas and ammonia which is just as clean and tastes like spring water...or Dasani.
I think something came out on the news not long ago about Aquafina being NY tap water. So? Dasani is Detroit tap water. It is all filtered and purifed.
