Keep me company tonight

its christmas eve,im all alone,i cooked myself one of them pre cooked roasts and a baked potatoe,drinkin a diet pepsi with lime and watching the simpsons.

its my first christmas alone so its kinda weird to me,but im sure ill adjust as its part of growing up.

hopefully if the weather stays good tomorrow i can travel to see my family after work and just not sleep tomorrow night.


so who else is here

Awww, that's what you get for liking the wings, bleh!

You will get used to it, in the last 5 years I haven't seen my family for Christmas. As usual I will go to see my family the week after.
I made garlic shrimp, steamed brown rice and Sauteed Portabello shrooms tonight. I will cook a turkey and some cornbread dressing tomorrow and some mashed taters, then take my puppy out for a few hours then maybe some shooting before work.

samoth-turn the dial to 425 put the chicken in and cook for 25-30 mins or until its no longer pink lol
 
Home alone tonight also. My family is on the otherside of the country so I'll be flying solo I guess.

I'm trying to figure out what the oven does to notify me that it's done "pre-heating". I'm guessing it doesn't do anything.

What kind of pup do you have? I'm a Wyoming man and haven't been bird hunting for years, what a shame. What is your 45? I'm shooting a new wilson cqb right now. Also I just scored a new ar so I am all about shooting right now.

Green tea ice cream is the best, but I am going to find this one just to try now too.

Nice Wilson! I am looking at one or maybe a Les Baer for my next .45. I have a Kimber Pro CDP and I love it. Need to replace the barrel, springs etc. either Les Baer or Ed Brown parts this time.
what part of Wyoming? You aren't that far from me and work takes me to Wyoming now and then. New Ar is looking like February for me. Rock River Arms DEA model is what I am after.
 
ok i got a vote for pedro t-shirt,which i wanted so thats cool,and a hummer cologne and deodorant gift set,which i think my pops got me so he can use since im a D&G guy,but ill use this im sure

Green tea ice cream is great! Have you had the red bean ice cream? I haven't had the nerve to try that one yet.
 
Damn, my first two choices for pizza are both closed tonight. I'm going to have to settle for a national chain delivery pizza. Bleah! Papa John's is the lesser of the evils available to me.

MM: I'm from Sheridan but won't be living back in Wyoming for 2 years. I love the Wilson and that Brown is a sweet 1911 also. That is my Bushmaster in the avi, I wish I would have gone with the Wilson ar also but went this route because of a good deal. I also like arma-lite and thos RR are good ar's too.

O1: I opened some of mine, a lot of cloths from the parents. One awesome thing was my mom sent me some shirts, all 2xl's and they are all two small. I can't wait to call her and tell her that the biggest she can get don't fit me! I'm up to 255 right now and think custom orders are all thats in my future.

I went with Domino's. I had a coupon for a large w/ unlimited toppings for 6.99.

Les Baers guns are the best high-end production guns out there.
I owned almost everything else out there and nothing compares.

The M4 is on an XM Bushmaster top and bottom.
The sight is an Aimpoint Comp ML 3 moa dot.
I did all the work myself.

That is a great set-up on that M4. I had the aimpoint on mine but swithed out to the eotech to work on cqb. Have you shot the Wilson 1911? Either way you can't go wrong. That new Brown really looks nice, I would love to shoot it. I pack the usp as my conceal and carry, a bit easier for me to hide.



MM: Do you have any time to hit the gym with the new job? I just injured my shoulder cuz I'm a meathead and was going up weight to fast. I was pushing my all time high 360 on bench and should have backed off. No worries though because I am going to have to miss the gym for 3 weeks in Jan anyway and will be ready for Feb to come.

If you are having Pizza tonight I hope you are having a good Christmas meal tomorrow! On Thanksgiving I almost at a small turkey all by myself. I have a little bigger one thawing out right now and will have it done by noon tomorrow.

The Wilsons can be good if you get a good one.
Their quality control lacks.
I had to send a 870 shotgun I built back 3 times before they got the Armor Tuff right on it!
For my next 1911 I'll probably get the Springfield Pro.
They swap gunsmiths with Les, Rock River, Armalite...
All those manufacturers are real close to each other, so the quality is solid.

Luckily the hotel had a nice turkey dinner for us, otherwise I would have eaten a turkey sandwich with prepackaged deli meat.

Right now I am watching the Phatom of the Opera on HBO.
