I'm new to this site, and have Karma points. What the he&* are they? I can't figure out what I can use them for. What's a Karma Bomb?

It's like play money, just for fun, that's why i have negative 150K Karma, I started a bookie event in the karma bookie forum and lost hard to say the least...If i wanted to spend $100 to get outta this hole i could, but why would i, to get a better rep?
